Used this to connect to a USB cable arealdy connected to a scanner (USB 3.1) that is far away. Works as expected. Can't rate durablity but I expect no disengagement of the cable and the plastic sheating seems very thick so should last. On orice to value primarily, I rate this a buy with a 5 ranking.

Just what I ordered and it is perfect.

I work from home and have to be on my headset. This cord allows me movement to my filing cabinet and the front door. It did not affect the sound on my headset at all. Also its very sturdy. Super happy with this product!!!

So we have an office with a powerful gaming rig and a beautiful 4k tv in the living room. Instead of watching TV we like to play games together like resident evil and the walking dead! We bought a 25 foot hdmi, this usb extension, and a wireless keyboard / mouse. This extension allows us to play with controller while the pc stays in the office! The particular controller we use is a wired controller with extra paddles and shoulder buttons so we couldn't use a wireless adapter. We can confirm that even with the controller's default 9 foot cable, the signal still makes it to the pc. Whatever you're doing, it's worth taking the extra time to ensure this clean cable won't work rather than starting with an active solution.
