A Remarkable Book and a Good Edition
I decided to read The Woman in White because it was mentioned on a very old list of all-time best detective mysteries. Having read it now, it's not quite a detective murder mystery, but it's so good that I am very glad I read it. I'd probably say now it's one of the very first psychological thrillers. There are moments of great suspense, and great romance too, which you should expect in a Victorian novel. There are plot twists, including one very big one that must not be spoiled, but also a few small delightful ones. a highly recommended read overall.

Size of paperback edition
Be warned that the paperback edition sold here is a 12 inch by 10 inch book without page numbers. I do not understand how it is possible to print a book without page numbers...

Excellent read
Although cumbersome at times due to the wordiness of the era in which it was written, it was quite a delight to devour. It rivals today’s mystery writers for all its twist, turns, and surprises. The only annoyance is that my copy of The Woman in White was plagued with words connected to one another with no spacing between throughout the book. I hope you find a better copy so you do not have to decipher the sentences. It wasn’t difficult, but as I said...annoying. Enjoy.

Run together letters difficult reading
I Still haven’t Reader the book but I have started it, and the number of words run together on it, just made me lay down the book and come here to write this down. With so many people complaining about it, how come that no one at Amazon had the grace to sort this out? I wish i had read these comments before buying the book.

A book review
I enjoyed The Woman in White, it was I believe one of the first murder mysteries ever written and the format was most interesting. The story was wonderful.

Unreadable format
The format of this book prevents reading it.Incredible. I’ve never seen anything like this. Straight to trash can. Borrowed my daughter’s copy. Will review the book later.

Great read ruined by atrocious formating
Every page littered with words running into each other, page breaks sometimes just one word on a page. This sloppiness spoils the flow and pleasure of reading.
