Tasty protein
I have been a fan of Pure Protein bars for quite some time, but I'd never tried the dessert flavors. Now that I have, I will make regular purchases because they are simply delish. The lemon bars do tend to be a tad sweet - they walk the fine line between sweet and TOO sweet to me, but I do like them a lot for their decidedly lemony flavor. The birthday cake and red velvet types don't seem as sweet to me and I like them a lot. If you want a break from the standard flavors, this combo pack may be just what you're looking for.

Great taste
This protein bar is very good. No bad aftertaste. Even grandkids love them and they are so much better then giving them cookies. Good for mid afternoon snack or dessert. Cut them up and add them to greek yogurt...win, win.

Pretty delicious for price
The lemon bar is ok, the texture is a bit powdery and the lemon flavor is fine but not indulgent tasting. The birthday cake bar is decent as well. The flavor is a bit overly sweet for me and the texture is similar to the lemon. The salted caramel chocolate is AMAZING. It tastes like a candy bar, not even like a nasty less sugar candy. It’s chewy and salty and caramely and chocolatey. It’s not the weird texture of other chocolate protein bars. All of these are light years better than quest bars. The texture is so much more palatable. But obviously these are not keto friendly with net carbs being 11. They are definitely more affordable than the One Protein bars and almost as good (I just wish they had fiber).

Salted caramel is too salty
These bars are great to add more protein and satisfy your hunger. Lemon ones are superb. The salted caramel ones are too salty. The birthday ones are meh but edible.

Love the flavors
I’ve been getting Pure Protein Bars from our local Club Warehouse. However, flavors were limited to chocolate, caramel and peanut butter. I am so sick of those. Then, due to supply chain issues, I am not able to get them there; always out of stock. So I turned to Amazon. This supplier was the most fairly priced; so many price gouge you as they know stores are mostly out of stock. As much as I sincerely appreciate the fair price, I LOVED the flavor options. I had no idea! 🤯. I was so excited shopping the flavor choices. I got lemon, birthday cake and caramel (my favorite of my previous 3 flavors). YUM! Eating healthy was never so good.

Probably better in warmer weather
These are odd. The photos on the boxes, which look delectable, are not a good indication of the bars I received, as you can see by my pics of the peanut butter cup variety. Maybe it's the time of year, with winter temps affecting lots of food products in shipment. I've tried the caramel and the peanut butter varieties and both have been rather firm and dry, with the chocolate coating flaking off. Neither bar's professed flavor comes through very well; the caramel doesn't taste very creamy/salty/indulgent (as I generally associate with caramel), and the peanut butter cup isn't very peanut buttery or chocolatey. I mean, they taste rather more like a soy protein mixture (which they are), than like the dessert flavors they are trying to imitate. There's also a faint sourness that may derive from the cocoa powder. On the other hand, the bars do supply a large serving of protein, as promised; they're not super high in sugars (as most bars usually are); and they are chunkier than many little protein bars. I'm not impressed by the flavors or the texture, but if you just need a bit of protein to support your nutritional goals, these might be fine.

Rothina seller of my order
The pure protein bars are acceptable with the exception of cookie dough. I have tried most flavors that pure protein and they are pretty good with the exception of cookie dough. It’s was like wax. They have set in my cabinet for months now. I chew and chew and chew. My experience with Rothina was poor at best. When I checked my order in November it showed that they were both delivered on November 3rd and also refunded neither happened. But they did just show up on my doorstep Dec 12 2021. You have to be kidding me. What gives them the right to say I was refunded and then weeks later apparently charge me again after saying the product was refunded and would not be delivered. I obviously replaced my previous order myself from the grocery store. I’m completely confused and disappointed in this retailer.

Overall good bars
Overall these bars are really good except I’m not a big fan of the birthday cake. I just did not taste right being a protein bar. The other flavors are really good, this is still my go to brand for protein bars. I put them in the fridge too to make it a cool treat when its a little hot out :)
