Don't ride without one (or two)
I keep a quick link in my pack on every ride. I've actually used more of them fixing other people's bikes than my own because they forgot to bring one. Breaking a chain when you're a LONG way out on a trail is no fun if you don't have one of these to get you out. Don't forget to keep a chain breaker tool with you too.

Great for emergencies and permanent links too.
I keep one of these with me on the bike at all times in case of a broken chain. This link requires no tools to install. If you are carrying these in case of emergency, be sure to have a chain tool also. Even though you do not need a tool to install this link, you will probably need one to remove a broken link.

Fits Eagle 12 speed
Perfect fit on an eagle gx chain. Put this one on and keep the one that came with the chain in my multitool for trail fixes. Stiff at first but loosened up after 15-20 miles.

Works as expected!
Excellent quality, works as expected. I picked the oil slick color so I can find it easier when servicing my chain, not so much as a fashion statement. These are supposed to be one-time use, but I find I can reuse them 2-3 times before they're too loose to reinstall. Not recommending anyone else does this, but it works for me...

Yup, they work! Great to have some on hand. I like the oil spill look to help me see where the link is - easy to find when needed and I use it as a reference point when oiling the chain, etc… Adds a little bling, but not too much!!

I put this on a standard eagle chain, and the color difference makes keeping track of chain position much easier when adding lube

Sacricial chain link
Purchased as extras to have one with you and one used when servicing the chain. The links are single use, so you sacrifice the existing chain link when you cleans and service your chain. Hard to find, so order an extra one for your tool box. Measure your chain wear regularly, it stretches and adds wear to your cassette!
