Is this hard or sturdy organizer?

No. Soft and floppy. But lots of pockets! I only wish it had one big zipper to close the whole thing at the top; sometimes stuff falls out in my purse.

Is it easy to see things once they are in the organizer? I don’t need another visual black hole inside my bag!

Truthfully I did not like this particular organizer it’s made of flimsy plastic. The ones I used to get were much nicer with lovely fabric I was dissatisfied with the one your asking about
