Can you cut very low on the bottle? Does the fence adjust to let you do this? Can't tell in the photos.

Yes, there are two possible ways to do this. One way is to cut the bottle neck off first, flip it around and adjust the bottom. The second option is to slightly modify it by removing the back screw and tightening the fence there.- then the bottle neck can extend to the fence.
