Not worth the money
Bought this for my son. It appears to be a nice rod and reel set. However, the line they use is garbage. The line broke twice when casting. It also broke while I was tying a lure on. If you buy this item, you should replace the line before using.

Shame on Zebco
Terrible from Zebco. Received my order in a box that could have fit 100 of these rod and reels. It did not come with the bonus tackle. Called Amazon and they reordered it, told me when it came in to take out the tackle and send the rod and reels back. The second box came in and again, NO tackle, and there were parts missing to the reel. So I contacted Amazon again, and they told me to keep the first rod and reels, send the useless one back, and they gave me a credit for the tackle. Will attach pictures to show the quality control from Zebco. 1st photo is box the first order came in, and second photo is the reel with the entire back missing, including the push button. Who at Zebco would do this?

rod broke in half
the reel was ok but the rod broke in half just casting it. i have three other zebco rods and they are great i might have just got a bad one

Reel falls apart
Reel of very poor quality. Fell apart as soon S I fastened it to rod. Very disappointing Fortunately I had spare reel or trip would have been ruined Very disappointed because I own several other Zeno reels all of superior quality

Reel Breaks Apart
After about six uses, the reel broke apart. Then I bought the same reel again, thinking the last one was a fluke, and the new one broke apart the same way on the first use!

i have been meaning to right a reveiw for months now the reel part of the set seized up but to much time had passed to return don't waste your money zebco is not even close to what it use to be again don't waste your money
