Perhaps not the funnest expansion, but definitely higher averaged cost set right now per booster pack. Maybe like me, you are wondering if you should buy individual cards or buy a booster box. It is true that you will get quite a few repeats of commons as they make up most of the cards. However, I priced what it would cost me to have bought each uncommon and rare/mythic rare card I pulled. I made a spreadsheet and filled it out as I went. Honestly, while pulling the cards, I thought I might break even or just a little under. Most of the rares were like .43 to .99. I only pulled about 3 - 4 that were over $10. However, after all was said and done, I calculated that I had pulled $180 worth of cards. This wasn't based off of list price but what I could get each individual card for at cost.This was not including tokens or commons, which you do have to pay for if you don't get them in boosters. So I expect I got $200 worth of cards for less than $100.I would recommend buying at least one booster box for a playset, then buying individual cards after that to supplement decks you build. If you like to make a variety of decks, instead of just one killer deck, it is more reasonable to buy a booster box. Then you get a variety of cards to make fun decks that you might not otherwise.

I live away from my home town and purchased this when I went back for Christmas so I can do a draft with friends and hang out. We haven't played MTG since Ravnica City of Guilds so we were all rusty, but M14 is pretty standard and easy to pick right back up. We were very fortunate with our booster box. We pulled two Garruk Caller of Beasts, one being foil! And a few other Planeswalkers. Lo and behold, we are now all back into Magic buying singles and making decks.

I've opened all the booster packs in the box, and i am quite satisfied with the cards i received. Out of 36 boosters, i received 6 mythic rares, and 3 foil cards. Though mine don't add up to the price of the box, the excitement of being the first of my friends to get the new Garruk more than made up for it. I wouldn't suggest buying a box to open and sell for a profit because its not guaranteed, but if you want a large variety of cards you wont be disappointed.

The product is exactly as advertised. 36 booster packs in a magic shrink wrapped box. Each pack will include 10 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, 1 rare (which has a 1/8 chance to be mythic rare,) and either a rule card, or a token. I had bought an M14 booster box from another retailer and and didn't have near the pull quality I had from this box I'm reviewing. I know, I know it's all random. Pulled a few Planeswalkers among other decent Mytics and rares. Quick and fast shipping from the retailer. Would buy from again. Gonna stick with the lucky one!

Cool stuff in here. Unfortunately at the time I ordered this, I didn't understand what is currently legal in standard. I just wanted the cheapest box of boosters I could find and this was it.

Fairly good core set at a good price per pack. There are several rares and mythic rares from this set that sell for good prices. When I read reviews from people who said they made their money back off of this booster, I was sceptical. However, I was able to make my money back in rares alone. Jace, Mutivault, and Archangel of Thune were some of the highlights. I recommend this product and wish you good luck in your draw!

Three stars because I got exactly what I paid for! Nothing more, nothing less. They didn't do anything extra, so no 4-5 starts and there were no issues so not 1-2 starts.
