Big SkinnyWomen's Taxicat Leather Bi-Fold Slim Wallet, Holds Up to 25 Cards

Originally I wanted to purchase the Big Skinny trifold wallet in red leather - I had seen a friend's and I really liked it. Since Amazon only had black leather available and I wasn't interested in the microfiber style, I decided to try the smaller Leather Taxicat Bi-Fold Wallet in Red. It came in two days (of course) with fabulous Amazon Prime. On opening the package, my first impression was - "Love the red leather" and "boy is this small".My fears about the size were groundless. I opened it and loaded it with money (fits fine in the single slot provided), license (in the see-through slot with opening that makes it easier to slide out), credit card, debit card, AAA card, health insurance cards and some business cards that I always take along. Then I folded up some bigger bills and put them in one of the areas under the card slots - at this point I had everything I needed for my trip, the Taxicat still had plenty of room for more, closed easily and was still so thin...it fit easily in my small travel purse ( I also tried it in my small dress purse and it was great there too) with room to spare. It easily fit into the pocket of my jeans.This little wallet can do it all and still fit in a small space. I really love it and would recommend it. It's a bargain at the price. Yes, as others have stated, it's kind of basic looking but the red color is FUN and it more than does the job. I'm looking forward to using it on my trip and will update my review if there are any issues.

I bought the red leather taxi at about 4 years ago. Love love it. Durable, slim, holds a lot, easy to use. 👍👍

OMG, my mum LOVES this wallet! She cannot stopped raving about it! She loves the red color and the quality is sound. As a senior, my mum only carries necessary items - money, insurance cards, credit cards, ID, emergency contact info, and a couple of tiny pics. Prior to, her old tiny wallets were actually bigger than the Big Skinny but they bulged. The Big Skinny fits her essentials and the magnetic closure keeps everything secured. Worth the price!

I don't like carrying a big purse, so I have been using a small cloth wallet I got a a craft show. It worked pretty well, but the velcro was not holding anymore and it did not have a change pocket. In looking for a replacement, I found the Big Skinny wallet. It fit everything I was looking for; small/slim wallet, with a change holder and preferably no velcro. Initially I had planned to buy the Taxicat in fushia material, but the red leather one looked more sophisticated so I went with that. I also liked that they are a US company based in Cambridge, MA.I bought this from Amazon, and it was shipped direct from Big Skinny. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected in perfect condition. The leather on the wallet is soft and smooth. The snap closure is magnetic and works well. I only have around 14 cards in the wallet and these fit well. I do have a few oversize cards that do not fit in the main slots, but fit in the inside slots. This could probably hold up to 22 cards, but who carries that many? The change pocket is small, but sufficient for my needs. The only disappointment is that the wallet was made in China :( ... I was sort of expecting it to be made in the USA, but the quality is still very good. Even with it's small size, it is still a little big too big for most women to carry in a pants pocket, but I think it would be idea for a man who wants a nice minimalist wallet (in black).

This wallet holds so much and yet remains sooo thin! I got the red leather and am so pleased with its softness and quality. Big Skinny is now the only wallet for me. I sometimes just carry it in the front or side pockets of my slacks for short runs and it fits fine - no bulk.

There is nothing that I dislike about this wallet! It keeps my “basics” in place. Stays skinny, durable, well made, color is exact, easy to find and store in any pocket in my purse or pants….what else can I say other than it is one of my favorite things at a very favorable price! Place for money, insurance cards drivers license and skinny it is!

My adult kids gave me a Big Skinny for my birthday in 2013. I loved it so much that I bought 2 more in case it wore out. Well, here it is 2023 and I’m still using the original one! It is so durable it hardly looks worn at all. Small but mighty: it holds a ton. A good leather wallet for under $30? I can’t recommend this wallet enough.
