CIA Non-Metallic Polyresin Spike Defense Tool

This is essentially a bargain brand knockoff of the Cold Steel polymer Delta Dart. It's a solid piece of nylon polymer construction, and in spite of feeling light, it's very sturdy. The triangular blade makes it stronger than a typical flat blade for piercing. The edges aren't particularly sharp, and in fact the angle at which the sides meet make it clear this was not meant to be a cutting tool, it's a stabbing weapon. It's pointy as all hell and since it's totally polymer without a bit of metal it's great for putting in places where a regular knife would rust, like at the beach, in the gym, while jogging, or you could hang one in your shower, so you don't have to be unarmed when you go where a metal knife wouldn't survive. If the point ever goes blunt on you, you can always shave it back to a fine point with a sharp knife. I'd suggest putting a bit of nylon cord through the loop to make a lanyard for it, so you don't have to worry about dropping it, and you can hang it in your shower if you like. Something like this I could imagine would be incredibly valuable for surfers and swimmers in case of shark or other aquatic animal attack, as you'll have a way to protect yourself, and you don't have to worry about it rusting away in salt water.

This tool is so lightweight and perfectly sharp for when i might need to use it. Highly recommend!!

It is light weight snd mostly exactly as advertised. However I bought this and the jungle dart at the same time for comparison, and I prefer the jungle dart only fir it’s just a little darker and has a much sharper point. I have yet to try it on this specifically however, I am concerned about its ability to penetrate clothing. Before it would penetrate any skin. With that being said in the same price point while I narrowly prefer the design of spike the jungle dart gets my vote for sharper point and slightly harder resin.

Easy to carry, discreet, last ditch protection. Weighs almost nothing, tough and strong enough to work effectively. Very effecting knurling on the "handle".

You get this because you would rather have something good for one-time-use than nothing at all. You are a proud American who lives day by day with the constant delusion that one day, some lowlife will put your life in mortal danger, and you - being the ever courageous blue blooded badass you are, will swiftly end the threat where it stands. Never know when, never know who. If you want it to be sharp, don't buy a plastic knife. It is sturdy, very pointy, has a good grip, and can be hidden very easily. Next time you need to slip a little self security past some metal detector, this is a cheap and perfectly acceptable choice. The worst they can do is confiscate it. Get it now.

Lot of $ for a piece of plastic, not sure it will do much damge but should be easy to bypass metal detectors.
