Really happy with this purchase - I had doubted that the quality would be all-that for the price, but I was very pleasantly surprised! As it is not a completely solid structure, though: photographing items that aren't so heavy can prove challenging, as there is a degree of give in the base of the box that will flatten out with a little bit of weight - you can easily solve this by placing your items on a block of some sort or blu-tacking the box/tent base taught on your work surface. The lighting range is possibly more than you'll ever need; different warmths/whites, which you can brighten and dim to your heart's content. My feeling is that this item will probably remain assembled now (I'll be using it on a very regular basis) - I'm not sure how much flattening & re-assembling these units would take - they would need consistent gentle handling over time to retain their limited rigidity and I don't think they'd survive many accidents or much abuse. I opted for this model because it was slightly bigger than the comparisons I researched online and I recommend this to anybody looking for a perfectly adequate, inexpensive tool for instantly giving your photos/videos that professional edge.

This is incredible, and has saved me so much time photographing products for my small business.There are so many positives -- The LED lights can go super bright which is a massive plus for getting detail shots.- LED lights have 3 different settings which, again, is handy to achieve different moods.- The overhead shooting hole is really useful and means no shadows in your pictures.- It is easy to collapse and comes with a bag to house the studio and backgrounds.- I like the selection of coloured backgrounds.I do not like -- The texture of the fabric backdrops, I wish they were smooth. It isn’t massively noticeable in pictures though so that’s good. I actually bought a piece of white PVC on eBay and cut it to the right size, so that’s also another option, I only did this for when I was really close up shots as I think the texture of the background would be noticeable then.- There is black text on the outside of the back wall of the box which can be seen through the background cloths if they’re pushed too close to the back wall.- The side walls have semi-circles cut out of them at the front which shows in pictures. I think this was a decorative thing, however I would have way preferred for the side walls to be full squares, like the other sides, to avoid outside of the box being seen in pictures. Again, this hasn’t been a massive issue for me either because generally I crop my pictures anyway and I don’t have to crop much out to remove this.The things I don’t like about the studio are not massive issues, most can be easily fixed, however I felt it necessary to include them in my review for your consideration. On the whole I love this product, I have managed to shoot some really lovely product shots with it, and I will continue to recommend to friends and family.

I ordered this light box yesterday, got it delivered today. Proper size, easy to assemble. Lights very bright on highest setting, there's cool, neutral and warm light setting which is very useful. The one thing I am disappointed with are the backgrounds. They are very bright colours, especially green and red, I don't think I am going to use them as I want my items to be the main focus point, not oversaturated background. It would make so much more sense to have a neutral grey or beige instead, or just tone down all the colours. Also, the fabric is very grainy which is clearly visible on the pictures. I was hoping for at least nice, smooth black and white. I will have to organize my own backgrounds with some smooth fabric or paper.

I am sorry to say that despite there being much about this light-box which is useful, I can't recommend it. Adopting the Nick Shabazz methodology, here are the Good, the Great, the Bad and the Ugly. There’s actually a new category too.The Good:The light-box comes with it’s own set of LED lights which form two rings in the roof of the box.They are powered via USB and the attached power cable can be connected to any standard USB socket, on a laptop, adaptor plug or power bank. No special adaptors are needed.The cable is a good length, 2 meters or just under.Once assembled the light-box is portable being very light.It comes with several different coloured backdrops which assist photographing items of different colours.The Great:The two rings of overhead LED lights are excellent. Not only do they provide bright adjustable illumination, they also offer three tones, white, "sepia" and blue.The brightness adjustability is wide, so your camera should be able to find appropriate aperture and speed settings to obtain a good exposure.The cable has a useful and easy to use control switch, which indicates if the unit is powered, switches the lights off and on, changes the colour balance and dims or brightens them.The Bad:The backdrops are hooked onto two plastic tabs cut into the back wall of the box and so can be a little fiddly to attach or detach.I found it annoying that the backdrops are textured with a honeycomb pattern. This appears in photographs, which will likely be a macro or close up, and distracts from the item being photographed.The Ugly:This light box is essentially a sheet of thin white plastic, indented with pre-folded seams and cut with slots and tabs which are then jointed together to construct the open sided cube.I found constructing the light-box difficult. The tabs were awkward to fit through the slots. I was concerned I would tear or bend the plastic out of shape, or damage the LED lights.The instructions were poorly designed and written. I have no problems following or assembling Ikea furniture, but these were “opaque.”Be careful where you assemble it. I laid it out on my living room carpet, which was a mistake as the box is readily generates static electricity. It was quickly covered in dust, specks and all manner of particles, which were a nuisance to remove.Even when constructed, the light-box is very flimsy.The Really Ugly:The tabs and slots, as well as the seam of the edge of the floor are clearly visible when not using one of the backdrops.This seriously detracts from the functionality of the light box, as you can only shoot items in the middle of the floor, unless you want to spend time cropping or photoshopping the seams out.The floor tabs therefore limit the size of the items you can shoot.The backdrops don’t help with the above problem, as they are narrower than the box by half an inch. They don’t cover the floor entirely. You can move them to cover one side but that leaves the tabs and slots on the other side unobscured.I have had some good shots using this light-box, but with small items in the middle of the backdrop. Don’t think you can use the full 12” of it’s size. If you do, you’ll be spending a lot of time editing out the background. The flimsy construction mean I wouldn’t buy this again.

Por el precio que ofrece y lo practico que es no puedo pedir mas. Permite hacer fotos frontales de mucha calidad sobre fondos uniformes. La calidad de luz que ofrece es muy alta y se monta fácilmente. Aunque es un producto que en un futuro tendrá seguro nuevas variantes de mejor acabado.

Die Box ist 30x30cm groß, was mir sehr gut gefällt. Die Lichteinstellungen sind in verschiedene Helligkeitsstufen und Farbstufen einstellbar. Das zusammenklappen geht nach dem auspacken nicht mehr so gut, aber das stört mich nicht. Bin zufrieden.

Fa il suo lavoro alla grande, la possibilità di cambiare lo sfondo è molto utile e poterlo chiudere e riporre in pochissimo spazio è fantastico!

J’avais commandé cette box lumineuse l’année passée et je n’avais pas été enchantée du résultat. La société m’a contacté et j’ai testé la nouvelle version de la box qui n’a plus rien à voir avec celle d’avant! La box se monte plus facilement, la lumière est plus puissante et tout est bien complet!J’ai essayé avec un appareil photo pro, un gsm Samsung et un IPhone. La qualité photo des 2 premiers appareils est magnifique! L’IPhone demande plus de réglages et est de moins bonne qualité (le soucis photo des IPhone moins récents…) Je mets 5 étoiles pour le service clientèle impeccable!!! Merci

Me gusta la cantidad de luz (lúmenes) que puede llegar a dar y en general me va bastante bien, pero la forma en la que está pegada la tira led al plástico (que es más flexible que rígido) no es buena.
