DO NOT BUY!!! Worst Product Integration ever!
So, basically these Chimes ONLY work with the Ring Doorbell System, but NOT the Ring Security system. This makes this product essentially worthless in my opinion. I have both systems, and maybe I am crazy, but the Ring Doorbell system devices and the Ring Security system devices are apparently NOT always compatible with each other!?!? How is that even possible in 2020?? For example, if you want to hear a "chime" alert, if a door contact sensor is opened, it will ONLY play on either the Base Station (in my basement) or the Keypad (up by the Front door), but NOT on any Chime units?? Really?? What moron designed this product??? you can ONLY hear the doorbell on these Chime Units. Nothing else apparently, even though the system has other sounds related to the security system. So, If you house has a second floor, and you need to know if a door is opened downstairs, then you can't hear the door contact sensor chimes, if you are too far away from either your Keypad, of from your Base Unit, unless they are very close to your location, unless the criminal rings the doorbell first apparently.I thought that would be the whole purpose for having a system where ALL devices are compatible and ALL work together, but apparently not. I've never seen a product line with: one name; one app; and one website, BUT not all its products work with each other??? Unbelievable.Save your money, and buy another system.

Does not integrate with Ring Security!
I thought from reading the reviews from the previous versions that I could integrate this with Ring Security. THAT IS NOT THE CASE!I wanted to hear the chimes from doors opening/closing, etc that are audible from the security base station in another part of the house. This only integrates with Ring Cameras and Ring Doorbell.Disappointed as everything is in the same ecosystem.... lame. Don't bother with the new version as this is basically just a chime for the doorbell/cameras (which your phone does equally as well).

Not Loud enough
I just got my ring chime today.I like it it cute and fits in with the living room decor. But I just have one con about it..Its not very loud I put it in the living room and the whole house cant hear it so I put it in the kitchen and you still cant really hear.

Integrates perfectly with my Ring doorbell
I have this Chime integrated with my Ring doorbell, and replaced an older model Chime with this new one when the old one died. I was delighted to see that they had come out with a newer model, which I love because it sits flatter against the outlet, and doesn't take up nearly as much room as the old one. Functionally, this works just as nicely as the old one.Truly, I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews of this. The Ring website states that all Ring devices work with each other and can be linked together. If anyone is having trouble doing this, I suggest either reading their support documents or contacting Ring customer support.

Does not work with ring security
Does not with the ring alarm. Only works with the ring doorbell. A waste.

Doesn't Extend Ring Sound
This product is not worth the money. Although it is super easy to install, it doesn't actually offer more benefit.

The Ring 2 detects Phantom motion alot
I am please that I purchased the Ring 2 although it has a major flaw regarding motion sensitivity. It will indicatemotion when there is no motion. How do I know. I have another security camera that looks across the porch towards the front door observing the same area from the side. When I review day or night Ring 2 motion alerts using the DVR or just switch quickly via a KVM to the cameras display and there is nothing there to cause a motion alert. The Ring2 is mounted over 50 feet from the street and there has been adjustment for steps and street distance. I have over 30 years of Principle Engineer level of Engineering and IT System Engineering experience and continue to be surprise this Phantom motion has not been addressed as a software patch or firmware upgrade. When you view any blog about the product Phantom Motion Detection is a major issue. Some people are just turning it off. I am fortunate in that my shrubs are the bush/hedge types and move very little in the wind. So, wind false alerts are not and issue. The Ring 2 has a motion detection design problem. That at appears Amazon is addressing with the Ring3. I don't want a Ring3 just update my Ring2 to resolve the Phantom Motion problem
