I was a little skeptical but the rug fits the space just right and the coloring is very nice. The quality is also really nice for the price. I am very happy with this purchase.

Originally, I had been looking at faux cowhide rugs but decided to see what the genuine article would cost. It turns out you can get the real thing for the same price as a faux one. Hides Bazaar had good reviews and I liked the fact that I could specify one with more white in it (Light Tricolor). I was worried that there would be a smell but to my surprise, there was no odor at all. It's lovely and silky, and doesn't slide around on the floor due to the suede backing. I do need to get the wrinkles out - I guess you place a damp towel on top and iron in the direction of the fur so I plan on doing that next. If you are looking for a genuine cowhide rug, this is the one to get.

The rug is just as depicted! So soft and beautiful. I also love how it was packaged in a smaller box instead of rolled like a standard rug. It made jr very easy to carry up to my place.

At first I was upset because I thought the light tricolor hide I ordered would look perfect in my studio. The hide I received is white with black markings.HOWEVER... I placed it on the floor and it looks spectacular.So, I have to give the shippers mind-reading creds.Seriously, it's a beautiful hide and a striking rug!

Was nervous purchasing without seeing, but saw all the good reviews and rightfully so. This is a real cowhide and has high quality fur. I'm quite impressed!The colorations are magnificent (mine is mostly black and white, with a nice tinge of brown) and it was pretty true to the picture. Size is accurate. I got the 6 x 8 feet version, but could've probably gotten away with the 7 foot version. Product has smell of natural hide / cow, which is to be expected and will likely dissipate over time. Also, some fold marks from how it has to be shipped, but these creases will also likely reduce once flattened for a bit.
