Reassuringly heavy and sturdy base. Looks good and matches the silver of the machine it was bought for. A bit fiddly to adjust when you first get it but not too bad and, once it is done, you can just forget about it - unless you get a new machine, I suppose. And I am confident that it won't budge from the position that I have set but the laptop lifts out and goes back in securely with no effort or concerns. The stand can certainly accommodate any size or shape that I might end up with in the future. My current work XPS has one of those "fashionable" designs that mean its outer edges do not run parallel with each other but that is no problem.My work laptop has sat in it since I got it and has only been removed occasionally to access the power button. It's a massive improvement from the two books it was balanced between for the first few months of lockdown.One of my better buys. If you think it would work for you, it almost certainly will.

Thank you to the lovely reviewer who gave me the idea to use this stand as a docking station! It slides perfectly into the second slot and the laptop at the front perfectly covers the cable mess and the external power button can be pressed by reaching behind the laptop.I chose the silver version. I would say it's definitely sturdy - has good weight to it. I had it for a couple of months and so far experienced no problems. I can also put my phone into the front-facing slot. Adjusting is easy - you can do it with the allen key that is included, but the dock is quite chunky so you just extend the second slot to maximum. I have adjusted the laptop gap such that the laptop sits there comfortably and can be taken out easily, For reference I use it with a Dell precision 5550 laptop and Dell WD19S 180W docking station.

I use this to hold a laptop, tablet and phone while charging. Does the job perfectly. Initial setup is a little fiddly but not beyond the wit of man. It's also useful to know that the device will adjust to future tech, as required. All round excellent, value.

Superb product. Excellent quality. Size of slots easily adjusted with supplied Allen key. Stand is weighty and doesn’t move on desk. Attractive addition to my work from home setup.

Was worried about stability but I have had no issues at all. Very stable, doesn't move around on the table. Easy mechanism to adjust width as required for both slots. Does what it says on the tin. Had it for a month and I can't really see it failing any time soon as its quite simple in its design.
