Using the Chummie bed-wetting alarm was my last home as everything else had failed. I purchased an extra sensor just in case something happened and I needed the extra sensor. Actually I didn't need it at all. The first sensor which came with the Chummie alarm worked well. I followed all directions to clean and maintain and my son stopped bed-wetting in a month. The sensor can be easily washed with water and dried with a cotton towel. Takes under 30 seconds. It would detect every drop of urine and alert my son. Terrific product.

This worked just fine. It came in a heat sealed zip bag, not the pictured packaging, but I didn't need the extra packaging anyway.I bought this after the old sensor broke. Nothing appeared physically wrong with the old one, and the clip on alarm part apparently recognized that it was connected, but I tested it under a running faucet and no alarm. Kid relapsed again, we hadn't needed it in quite a while. This saved us having to purchase a whole new kit with the alarm. Tested and working.

My son pulled the sensor out of the tract pad in his half dazed trip to the bathroom one night. he has been using the cord to pull off the Chummie when he changed his underwear or gets in the shower in the morning. I wish it would have lasted longer or came with two sensors originally. I would rather my son use the bathroom at night rather than trying to make sure he cleans the sensor and has EVERY DROP of water dried off before he can return to bed. It would make this easier to stick with and I think more successful.I would still recommend this to anyone struggling with bed-wetting. My son still doesnt EVER remember getting up at night, but he does- and I'm so proud!

**update to this review - Chummie did email me and has sent a replacement sensor. My only wish is that the conversation could have been more helpful to start. It is a great product when the sensor works.**Every night for 9 nights, Chummie has gone off. Eight of those nights there was no noticeable wetness. I figured it was just picking up something I couldn't detect. But each time we'd get changed, new undies and re taped Chummie, the alarm would go off as soon as we plugged it back in, so we were unable to use it the rest of the night.I ordered a second sensor to use for the second round each night. We used it for the first time last night, and lo and behold, no alarm all night long. And when I placed a metal thing on it this afternoon (whoops), I was able to reset it immediately. Huh! Eight interrupted nights without sleep?When I contacted customer service - with my receipt and an offer to send it in, I got a rather condescending response that I needed to clean it with water only and all would be good. Well, since I've done that, these problems occured from the start, and they haven't happened with the second sensor, I fail to believe that. When I reiterated all of this to them, there was no response.This is all very important to my son. So I've now ordered our THIRD sensor. I wish I could speak with my wallet and walk away from this less than friendly company. And get 8 nights of wasted sleep back for my family.

My 10-year-old daughter was struggling and embarrassed about still not being able to get through most nights without wetting the bed. She was avoiding sleepovers and overnight camps because of it. It took only 2–3 months of using this alarm, and now she never wets the bed anymore.It really is as sensitive as they advertise. It really can detect a single drop of moisture.

Our 8 year old son wore this for a couple of weeks, and it did not work for him. He pulled it off before the sensor could work, he was smarter than the sensor! We will probably try it again but the first attempt did not go well. He still wet the bed every night those two weeks that we tried it.

Purchased this product because it is very comfortable and flexible. Granted, there is no clip on the sensor, but it still does the job and does it very well. My daughter didn't even feel a thing when she slept at night. It is bigger than metal sensors, but that is necessary in my opinion to detect urine. Very easy to clean and manage. I just used tap water to rinse. It came with tape which worked perfectly.

My son broke the sensor in 3 weeks and we were stuck without one.Called the company. They shipped me 2 sensors for the price of 1. Amazing.Hes cured now.This product is amazing. It does work. I think this sensor has to do with most of the design and the way it works. Its soft, comfortable and we had no problem installing it. We used painters tape for a strong fit.
