Very thing
I got these for the colors. And the price was really good. I just wasn’t expecting them to be so thin. I will be buying 5 star next year with or without cute colors. Sturdiness is better than cuteness.

It is a little too lightweight for my use! Prefer a previous one that I ordered.
It's OK for easy quick use, but prefer a different package that I had previously used!

Two Pocket Folders
This is a set of twelve folders, good for school or business purposes. You get six colors, two each of blue, pink, purple, green, yellow, and orange, and each folder contains two pockets, plus a slot for a business card.PROS* While the material is extremely thin and flexible, it looks to be fairly strong.* You get a variety of colors.* In addition to the pockets, you get a business card slot, which is a definite bonus for me. I plan to use the folders for the handouts I give new students, so the ability to include my business card with each folder is great!* The folder's pockets will hold a lot of papers.CONS* The colors are much bolder than I was expecting. They aren't soft colors, like the description photo shows, but almost neon. Not what I hoping for! Also, the pink and orange are nearly identical, which is a bit strange.* At first glance, the folders seem very flimsy. They're stronger than they look, but it was off-putting when I first opened the package.* In order to use the business card slot, you have to use your fingers to separate the perforations, otherwise the card won't fit into the slots.I was expecting the folders to be translucent, but they're more milky. You can definitely see through them, but they aren't "clear." I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or not. Also, the folders are not three-hole punched, so you can't slip them into a binder. That's not what I wanted them for, so I'm perfectly fine with that, but if you're looking for something you can use with a three-ring binder, you'll need to look elsewhere. Or punch the holes yourself.Overall, I'm pleased with these folders. I wish the colors were less 1980s neon-bright, but other than that, I'm satisfied. You get twelve of them for the price, so it's a pretty good value. Four stars. Recommended to anyone who needs to keep papers together for business or school.

Super thin and flimsy
First, the colors are beautiful. Everybody is right about that. There is also a set of notches on the left inside pocket of each folder to hold an index card.Unfortunately, the folders are as advertised and expected except for one CRITICAL factor. They aren't much thicker than a couple sheets of copy paper. Normally folders of this type have enough thickness to hold their shape and flex a little, but these are so flimsy that any paper contents will have to hold them up! I would not recommend having more than a few sheets of paper in each side, and you'll definitely want to carry them inside something much stiffer as a "container". These remind me a lot of the cover sheets used for presentations. However, to fulfill their function as a folder, they need to be about triple the current thickness. The following illustrates the point well.As my wife opened the box and pulled the folders out, one of the younger kids walked into the living room."Can I color on the pretty paper?" my daughter asked."Those are folders, not paper," my wife replied. My daughter came closer, looking unconvinced.I opened a folder, bent the corner of the cover over and rolled it up into a tube. At that point it really did like like a sheet of brightly colored paper, causing my daughter to look at me funny. So I unrolled the folder and showed her the inside pocket, at which point she nodded skeptically and walked away.

These folders are like nothing you've ever used before
I can see why these reviews are so mixed. These folders are like nothing you've ever used before. Transparent. Flexible. Insubstantial. BUT - THEY LAST AND LAST. The edges will get a little beaten up in a backpack, but they will make it through entire year of school. You can stuff them ridiculously full - like 100+ pages or more. The center seam doesn't tear, and the pockets do not separate. The only casualty I can remember is when one got a half-inch tear above the pocket after my son stuffed it with an inch of paper on each side. My kids have used these for 3 years, and will use no others. We replace them yearly just to start with a nice, crisp edges for the first day of school, but honestly, we don't have to. If you need to ensure that a piece of paper never bends, even a little bit, then get a harder plastic folder and expect to replace it in a month when the folder cracks. But for a folder that goes in and out of a backpack every day for a year, you'll be surprised by how well these workhorses do their thing.

Durable but floppy.
I prefer to buy plastic folders for my kids for school because the paper ones never last through the year. These are a thinner plastic and more flexible than ones I have bought in the past, which is not such a bad thing since they seem to be holding up well. No rips or tears of any kind 3 months into the school year. It does bother me that they are so floppy and will curl over if not put in the backpack carefully. They have not developed creases from bending so far, but I have to wonder how long that will last. They are also rather slippery. I would prefer stiffer plastic, but those would have been more expensive so, for the price, these are doing an o.k. job.

Thin, but durable folders
I purchased these primarily since they seemed to be the cheapest plastic folders I could find. As some of the other reviewers point out, these things are VERY thin - if you use them to hold just a few papers, they will flex significantly. However, I can vouch for the durability and ultimately how they met my needs - unlike the cardboard folders they replaced, there are few signs of wear at the joints after a few months of use.Further, I've been pleasantly shocked how well they protect papers inside. Pristine condition. I do have to make sure that papers are well-aligned in the folder before throwing it into the bag.All in all, if you need something to hold a few papers, these aren't going to work well for you. For holding packets of papers, these are a great value.

Not too study but does the job.
Not the most sturdy pocket folders but good to hold things together.
