This is a quite astonishing piece of kit which I bought to replace a Bosch measure which only measured a single distance.This MiLLEESY measure not only measures the distance between two points but is capable of measuring heights and distances from two reference points to automatically calculate a third distance.The quality is excellent, as you would expect coming from Shenzhen, as is the accuracy. The measure is very easy to use and the screen clear and easy to read. It comes with a comprehensive instruction manual.It's limitations are precisely the same as any other of these measures. In strong sunlight or daylight its difficult to pick up where the red dot is. Similarly distance results in the same issue even though the beam is quite strong. Im delighted with it. I won't be losing this one!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to measure some lengths longer than my tape measure. I've known they exist but just thought they were gimmicky. Oh how wrong was I!The unit is very easy to use and comes with batteries, so straight out of the box it is ready to go. I immediately tested against my own measurements and it is extremely accurate, way more accurate than you can be with bendy tape measures.Why is it so good? Its all the extra things you can do:- Records your measurements- Works out areas- tells you the height of something using pythag, so you just stand back from the object (a tree, or building), point to the top and then point to the bottom and it works it all out!- Continuous scan Max/Min mode... it will constantly scan and tells you the biggest and smallest lengths it findsSeriously cool piece of kit for the price. I'm going to be buying a load more as gifts now because I think everyone should own one.

Good but a bit slow. I do not think it can be used for external measurement.It suits my needs though.

Finally bought an electronic tape after my partner retired and found I no longer had someone to hold the end of the tape, wish I had done it years ago! Very easy to use and navigate, still haven’t read the instructions and don’t think I need to!

Look after the device. Accurate to a few mm. Has not been used a lot but so far as good as a device at any price. The on line memory is very handy.

Seems well made, solid, measures accurately. I'm using it to measure/install my own new kitched. I wanted to check all the measurements I had made with a tape measure and also make additional measures in different places e.g. length of room at floor level/ceiling level/half-way up. It's surprising how uneven your walls are! I should have bought one years. I cant do anything about my walls, but at least I'll know why, if I have to make adjustments to the new kitchen.

I bought this to use instead of tape measures, which can be awkward over longer distances when working alone (folding on themselves etc). I find the basic functions (distance measurement, volume and area calculations etc) to be excellent. Quick and very accurate. The device is not really useable outside in sunlight. The more advanced functions (e.g. to calculate wall height using Pythagoras theorem) I find less useful. It’s hard to maintain a stable position with a handheld device and I suspect some of the measurements I take are ‘out’ because of this (rather than a functional failing of the device per se)… but it’s hard to be sure. It might be okay for estimating in this use. I like that it can show slope angles too, that’s very useful at times. Anyway, for the purpose I acquired it, it is very good. It’s a shame outside use is limited, however, I gather that is quite typical for such devices. I have dropped it a couple of times and it hasn’t fallen apart, it seems quite robust. Overall, I do consider it very good value for money and I’m very happy with this purchase.

Generally white happy with the item, its quite easy to use, and makes quick work of measuring a room.The only main concern or dislike I have is that in when using it outside its very hard to see where the laser is to place it. And in bright light it’s virtually impossible to see the laser. So really indoor use is the best and main use for it, which I feel defeats the object a little.
