Very very good overall !!
Not for amateurs or beginners. The price cannot be justified. There are a lot of cheaper alternatives that are not obviously as good but good enough for a half the price. Overall a very good rubber for both backhand and forehand. There is a reason why this thing is so popular.

Fast enough and very spinny
I'm an intermediate skill player and this is just right for me. I use it for both forehand and backhand. I play 2-3 times a week. Love the speed and spin on both sides. It has lasted for just about a year, I'm just beginning to notice a little drop in the speed. I'll replace them with the same thing. Really got used to this rubber. It is paired with a viscaria blade. They were a bit too fast for me at first, but I have developed into being able to use the combo well.

Excellent rubber for players of lesser ability also (1500 US rating)
I am so happy with this rubber (1.9 thickness) on my forehand. I am around 1500 (US rating) so I am not a good player. But this rubber is so easy for me to control. And I can generate excellent top spin and a good speed from it without sacrificing control. I play really close to the table and I am discovering that even with very short motions (since I am very close to the table) I get good response from the rubber. The best part has to be that I NEVER found this rubber to be out of control ... ever! With regular care, I believe I am getting decent life from it; I have been using it for 3 or 4 hours every week for 4 months and I probably have another 2 months of life left in it.

Good rubber for professionals, not quite for amateurs
I put 2.1mm 09C on Viscaria, forehand. Really need to put some muscles behind the loops to make quality shots. Plays like Chinese rubber, not like any other tenergy/dignics.The good part is extremely good control in almost everything. Very good in serving and receiving looping, counter-looping. The only thing I need to adjust is that smashing tend to miss the table compared with other rubbers so need to aim a bit low.

Exact rubber I need
Fast rubber, reasonable control. Dow side is less durable. Easier to be damaged.

Unnecessary unless you're a pro
Pretty good rubber, but unnecessarily expensive and honestly way too fast for most players. I'm around 1500 USATT and this rubber is way too fast for me, even on an all-wood blade. Just get Hurricane or Skyline rubber for $25 and if you want it to be faster, add some booster. If you play with Dignics too early (i.e. if you are not at least 2000 USATT) then you will not develop the proper technique for looping and creating very spinny balls. The ball simply leaves the racket way too quickly to give you feeling and feedback of whether you are brushing the ball correctly.I know that Dignics 09c was supposed to be a "hybrid" rubber, somewhere between a bouncy tensor rubber and a hard tacky Chinese rubber. My impression is that it is 80% tensor, 20% tacky. I think that Rakza Z does a much better job of creating a 50-50 compromise between tensor and tacky rubber.Don't get me wrong, I believe that this is a great rubber. However, this rubber was created for professionals (specifically for Timo Boll), and if you're not a pro, you should really rethink about whether you're having too much hubris by trying to play with this rubber. Rakza Z, Glayzer 09c, and Vega China are all similar rubbers for a much lower price which give you much better control of the ball.Edit: after trying this rubber on my forehand, I moved it to my backhand where it is better, but still not ideal. I still prefer Rakza Z or Hurricane 3 on the backhand.

good
Nice ball feel compared to Stiga DNA Platinum M, but noticeably heavier.
