A brilliant and poginant journey through childhood memories waits for you inside the pages of this classic tale. Prepare to be transported back to a time when the simple things in life were all we wanted, and the simple pleasures of life were open to our imagination. A real find. A real gem.

I love this book so much! My grandpa used to read it to my cousins and me when we were young, so I ordered it to read to my son. Great seller, the book was in great used condition and came quickly.

Went looking for this book because it was one from my my childhood. Was happy to find this copy in great condition.

My children loved this book as they were growing up. We read it so much, the covers have come off. It's one I hope my grandchildren will love as well.

This was a favorite story my mom used to read to me and my brother's when we were little. I recently had some amazing bread from a local bakery and this story came to mind. I had to have a copy! I bought a used copy at an excellent price. The book looks new, except for a signature on the inside. The pages are pristine. The cover has a tiny scuff on the spine. I am very happy with this purchase!

Book's condition was as good as new. So excited to have found it as it was a favorite childhood book for our kids as we owned a bakery. Needed to get a copy for a grandchild to carry on the tradition. Delivery was as promised. Thanks!
