Awesome product! People complain of how hardit is to apply. Like the instructions say use a small amount of dish soap and water in a spray bottle and wet skin before applying to get proper positioning. Easy install and looks great!

If you like to throw away $20 bills then this is the product for you. The application method is horrible, you only get one shot, it tears easily even from simply removing it from the backing, it creases easily, it sticks when you don't want it to, the instructions don't help enough. The only positive thing I can say about this is that it looks cool and is shiny its just too bad you wont be able to fit it on. I have never regretted spending my money on something this bad.

the skin is extreeemmlyyy hard to get on perfectly even with the water based solution. if you are serious about wanting a system skin i recommend going to their website , its cheaper on the real website than amazon. i aslo recommend getting 2, its freaking impossible to get it on perfect,with there being air bubbles, scratches, and not getting it on straight. Athough...the controller is pretty easy to put on. the skin itself looks good but remember to read the directions ... like 8 times before you try to put it on. or find a clip on plastic skin, thats what i would rather of gotten. if you take the skin off of the ps3 it leaves a mess, i have dirt sports where dirt stuck to the glue left on the ps3, and with the contoller, over time it doesnt stay smooth around the edges. I'm a retro collector who wanted to add a personal touch to his game consoles without the hassle or damage of painting. However, my past experience with console skins has been...messy. Usually you only get one shot to lay it down just right before it permanently sticks, and trying to fix it only leaves residue or damage. Still I thought I'd give it a try. Most Google searches led me to this brand, however their website seems a little broken at the moment so I bought it here on Amazon instead. I must say, I'm quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of the skin and my expectations were blown out of the water. The color is exactly what was shown on the picture, everything is cut exactly to size, and the instructions were clear to understand. Using the dish soap water formula from the instructions to ensure the right alignment before sticking down worked great, as long as you are patient and don't apply too much, and the only frustrations I had were due to my own mistakes, but easily resolved with a second try. Everything turned out almost as perfect as the photo and I'm very happy with the end result. I really liked that the PS3 design includes different cutouts for different model versions (2- or 4-USB plug versions); though my only complaint is that it does not have stickers to cover the sides, just the top and bottom, so a little bit of the old color still shows. I do also wish the logos the skin covers up could be screen printed onto the skin for a more authentic look, but I think I can live without. I also purchased skins for other game consoles at the same time but this was the first I applied. However my experience with this one has given me high confidence in this brand and I will no doubt be recommending it to others.

Plain and simple. This product is great. This particular item is sold and distributed by Systems Skins. Since this was my first purchase in years, I always wanted to skin my PS3. I ordered this specific skin to match my controllers. First off, the ordering was straight foward. The shipping was provided by USPS which always takes some patience. As soon as I received the shipment, I thoroughly inspected my product. The skin was neatly packaged and heat sealed in protective plastic. I found that installing the skin was quite overwhelming because you dont want to waste a good product if you mess up. But, system skins provided full instructions on how to install it. Included the shipment was their business card with a promo code on the back which they did not provide. I figure if a item is ordered from you that you'd want to entice the customer with discount and promo codes but thats just my insight. Continuing on, I installed the skin carefully and I am very happy with my results despite of one thing. I have a 1st generation ps3 which dont have air vents on the bottom front right side if the ps3 is sitting horizontal. The skin has pre-cut areas for the intended vents. So I had to cut the skin to accommidate for the pre-cut areas, which turned out great. All-in all, ordering from System skins was a great experience. I share this with all of you because my transaction with them was great. Only if they would include a promo code with their business card to order from them again.

The best thing about this item is the customer service I received. The first set of decals I received was junk. They are very easy to screw up on and are very sticky. Long story short the customer service sent me another set. Once again they were sticky (and yes i read the instructions) and the decals where ruined so i gave up. I also had a friend helping me apply them. waste of money!

First of all this looks pretty cool. I orderd this product and it came super fast. The problem I had was not enough pices came with this product. I was missing a few stick ons so my PS3 is not all chrome red as you see in the picture. Its not to hard to put on took me 40min to put it on just right, and it looks nice. the color was perfect. What Im tryng to say is, that the only problem I have is missing stick ons.
