Good product for my solar system installed in Uganda.
Bought this item after realizing my inverter had a "dangerous" low volatage disconnect of 9.5V. I was lucky to even get a free upgrade to Smart version. It is working amazingly well and with the smart option, I can even raise my voltage disconnect to a higher value, a feature not available in non smart type (currently set my LVD to 12.6V). No noise, easy and simple to install. Above all, the supplier has a very good customer care.Review after 3 years: This little gadget is still working like new after 3 years of daily usage/24/7.....I now know the power of Victron bran.

Will raise to 5 stars if I can remember after two years, if it's still working. I use it to protect the inverter of a small solar system.

BLUE TOOTH LVD
This thing is awesome. So glad I upped my order to get the bluetooth model. This eliminates the need for a battery disconnect switch. You can shut your battery off at will with the app. Also it is more finite programming with the bluetooth rather then the Morse code method to program these things. You can set the LVD to any voltage you need. Very happy with this unit. Built a lithium battery that i can isolate from my older SLA battery bank.I think Victron knows this but if the high voltage disconnect was programmable it would nearly eliminate the need for a bms. This would be the ultimate purchase for DIY lithium with a few easy upgrades.

Good concept poor design
I purchased this SBP in Jan2021 to go in a battery box for camping which I do not use that often. I needed the battery box for a recent hurricane and it would not function at all. After further research I found several post stating that these are not to be used with an inverter. This was not included in the product description. DO NOT USE THIS SBP BETWEEN A BATTERY AND AN INVERTER!! This design does not make this a SMART BATTERY PROTECTION device.

Great purchase saves lives. Battery lives!!
Tested 100a smart battery connect and works perfect. Very easy to program via Bluetooth. Gives alert on your phone within Bluetooth range and shuts down after 90 seconds. Best thing I have bought in a long time, keeps my batteries safe. Will buy for all my solar projects from now on.

It works well
It is adjustable boltage cutoff. I have a 24v single pole relay hooked to the 2 wires the remote button uses to turn and off. Now the unit cycles that relay and turns off the inverter before it disconnects the battery (which is the better way)
