REALLY GOOD! We tried another NYC metro babka and I went with Stern's after reading review. Lots of cinnamon, heavy cake texture, great taste in my mouth. We sent out cakes to my out of town family after the holidays for a surprise and will make this a tradition!

Fast secured shipping delivery. Item is worth the value for the money. Cake quality, moist, flavor cinnamon taste, size, texture all perfect. Density and less but not least the Appearance, love it, my rating ☆☆☆☆☆.

I live in a remote area off of any roads, all must be flown in. I had looked at this for months thinking that it would be dried out if I did order it. Well, I ordered it, it arrived in perfect condition, I put my first slice in the oven with some butter (thinking it would be dried out), ate my piece in joy and bliss because it was that good. Later, as I walked by the cake sitting on my stove, I had to grab a small piece, no time to microwave it, and guess what? It was ALSO DELICIOUS! It wasn't dried out at all, and by not warming it up I could taste and chew the chewy, gooey, most delicious, parts where the sugar had kind of hardened with the cinnamon and cake batter (the best part of any cinnamon cake in my opinion). I will buy this again, and again. This will also be an excellent cake to bring to our community meals - I imagine that there could be fights breaking out over it, I'd better cut the pieces small so that many can try it. I love this cinnamon babka bread with my evening cup of tea. It is very satisfying since it does not take away from the flavor of my choice of chai or Darjeeling. I have gifted the chocolate/cinnamon to my nephew as part of his college care pack and he too loved it. The packaging was careful so my bread came without being squashed or crushed. I appreciate that, Sterns!

I read the reviews, some were good, some not but I thought the negative reviewers might be exaggerating a little. turns out the reviewers were being truthful. I just received a Cinnamon Babka Ring Cake. It arrived sideways in the shipping box. seeing that I decided to have a slice and I hoped it taste better than it looked. Wrong again. Dry, very little flavor, lacked the Babka yeasty-doughy character. One of the reviwerscalled it an Inferior Babka and they are 100% right. Dont order this one it tastes dry and cheap. yes, its okay for coffee cake but why spend $20 on this when there are much better options. The sliced Cinnamon and the Chocolate Babka from Reisman's are much better and taste gourmet. Stern's tastes more like a giant cinnamon roll from a Gas Station.

I don’t care if this product is a bit pricey…taste and freshness means more to me than being “Cheap”…YOU BUY CHEAP…YOU GET CHEAP! If you want great products…expect to pay more. I ordered one more because this tasty treat won’t last long here at my house. I would highly recommend this product to my family, friends and business associates. There is one small flaw…the paper doily that was placed under it…stick to my treats…I had to pull it all of a little piece at a time, taking some of the product with it, my suggestion would be to find something better to sit it on before putting it in its plastic cake container for shipping. UPS IS NOT FRIENDLY WITH PACKAGES AND THIS PRODUCT NEEDS TO BE BUBBLE WRAPPED TO KEEP IT FROM BEING DAMAGED IN TRANSIT! MY PLASTIC CAKE CONTAINER WAS DENTED IN ON OND COMPLETE SIDE…it’s evident that it had been dropped! But thats just a small matter. The texture is great…each roll pulls apart very nicely, and each roll is so moist, and the Flavor is “To Die For”…lol! YUMMY!

Love this Babka cake! It is delicious. It keeps (in the fridge) for a long time. You can heat it up with microwave or air fryer. VERY sweet.

The paper doily sticks to the cake bottom and doesn't peel off. The only way to remove it is to take part of the cake with it. It would be nice if they changed the paper to something else. Will not re-order

Tastes old,the paper the cake is shipped on fused to bottom of product, cant peel off by hand, lot of cake wasted cutting it off with knife, not worth the wait or money. Wont buy again !

It came quickly, good texture and flavour, but a very strange aftertaste. Ended up throwing most of it out due to the foul aftertaste, which may have been a preservative.
