stainless, but the numbers are terrible. I prefer the ones that have the numbers stamped rather than just surface etched.

I have the same one as pictured and mine is 1 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" long with measurements on 2 sides as pictured and nothing on the back. Also has the ring on the upper right corner.

Negative, unfortunately it doesn't and you can barely read what is there. It works but is a poorly executed tool for what it could be.
