I have cut my husband's hair for years. Much to his chagrin, he has been losing it since he was 30. His mullet went the way of the 80's... a fun, distant memory. I never understood why anyone would date based on hair, height or for that matter cup size or hair color. My husband would comment back that it was easy for me...(cute petite gal with hair enough for both of us he would say). I sympathize. I really do, but I never thought about hair on a man's head an issue. Really?? So as each year passed the pattern increased and finally it reached the time when I told him, enough! Embrace the bald. There weren't enough cutting guides to work out the scrappy patches. So off it went. We got the mullet wig for 80 parties, had fun but he slowly got to see the benefit of bald.Then one fateful day our ancient clippers quit. They actually shorted out with a dramatic poof and spark. I went to work finding new clippers. I wanted cordless so I wouldn't pull his nose off when working. What a disappointment. Those things gave the cut of a short-haired dog. Not the close shave we were looking for. I purchased these although corded and have not had an issue. Would prefer no cord but I can work with them. No nicks or cuts. Close clean and easy to grip. Less vibration than our old pair which I'm surprised how much more pleasant to work with, even in a short period.I also packed them on board a flight to cut my best friend who is battling uterine cancer. Chemo had left patches and she wanted the pretty bald look. It reportedly leaves no razor burn and is super close.We are very happy with this razor. No guides used but I tried them. They are much easier and stiffer than our old ones, so I would think they would do the job.Wish they made all razors to cut this sharp. Very happy I got my sexy bald husband and I have to say my friend is as beautiful as ever. Would purchase again.

Product works great plus delivery was fast and on time

This is exactly the thing my barber would use to shave all my hair off, if I had any hair left to shave off. I'd been trying to use an electric razor to keep me bald and I'd never be able to get it as close as I wanted it. I'd also usually leave miss a couple of patches. This gets super-close and has never nicked me, even when I'm reaching all the way behind my head and holding it awkwardly.The blade should be oiled regularly -- some blade oil should be recommended when you add it to your basket, just go ahead and pick up a bottle while you're at it. WRT the complaints that it was greasy/fingerprinted when it was received, it appeared that the blade had been oiled prior to being sent. I oil the blade and wipe the hair off it each time I use it.It's quite intimidating to turn on the first time. The switch has a very solid click to it. I suspect that if I take good care of it and swap new blades in from time to time, it'll probably last for years. Very solid construction. I'd say they don't make them like that anymore, but clearly they do!

Got tired of seeing a barber who uses the same clippers! So, bought my own. Now I save on trip to the barber and the costs. It gets close enough that I only need to use electric foil shaver to then get completely smooth. Works great.

I have owned several hair good quality clippers , when I saw a review on YouTube, I decided to give a try, and this clipper has been the best I’ve ever bought, it gives me the closest cut of all three clippers I own.Very happy with the purchase .

These stopped working after a year. They were mediocre before they broke.
