Knox Gear Mini Plug-in Air Purifier Sanitizer with Odor Reduction (3 Pack)

I have to give these 1 star because of something very very important that i didn't know- that Ozone is very very bad for the lungs and for people, like myself who have struggled with athsma. For months i was using these thinking it was clearing the air after we did some home construction. I thought the construction chemicals were hurting my lungs but it turns out these were. I know this because i stopped using these for about 9 months and just used it again 2 nights ago only to have my small lung / trouble-breathing symptoms occur. I just need to put this out there to warn anyone with lung sensitivity issues not to use these. My boyfriend and toddler were fine around these, but i have struggled with athsma and would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air and having throat pains after using this. So just want to warn sensitive people to avoid using ozone air purifiers.

I received my units 4 days ago and put them right to work.I have a very sensitive olfactory and live in an older home in FL and have 2 cats. Nobody has ever commented on the smell of my cat boxes because I scoop 2-3/day and have scented plugs ins, etc. Here's my problem-I turn my AC to 80 while at work and have an unpleasant musty odor when I come home, probably from no air circulation for 8 hours. Not anymore!These little units freshen up my 1500 square foot home beautifully and I only have 2 plugged in (on the highest setting)!! The ionization smells like the outdoors after a good rain. I'm playing with the setting now to see if I need them on full blast or lower. Other reviews mentioned the noise from the unit-I only hear a faint sound if I'm right on top of it, and I have sensitive hearing. I will post an update after some time passes to let you know how it's going.Update:I just sauteed onions and cabbage.........NO RESIDUAL SMELL!!!!! These are a-freakin-mazing!!

First of all, my experience got off to a really good start. I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service. These were delivered within a couple of days and when I plugged them in, it seemed like they started freshening the areas (damp musty restroom and kitchen/living room) immediately. I've had them for about 2 weeks now, and the restroom and kitchen areas are so improved, it's almost unbelievable! Both work remarkably well at a very low setting. On my day off tomorrow I'm going to turn the setting up while I'm home just to see what results I'll get. And btw, I share a very small home with a hygiene deficient roommate and an assortment of rescue pets, so if these work for me, imagine what they can do for a nice, normal home:)PS, I gave a 4-star rating for now because of the short time I've had the set. I will update after a while to comment on their durability under these extreme conditions. And, I'm ordering another set today!

This unit is working extremely well. I am currently using it in my garage where I keep my lawn fertilizer and garden chemicals. As you can imagine, the odor from those products are pretty strong. This Ionizer is eliminating those odors and keeping the air breathable again. Cannot go wrong at this price point.

It's not as loud as some I've had in past. I leave it on lowest power in my bathroom which is 50 sq. Ft. And it always smells clean and fresh. I smell the ozone scent that these are known for,but also another scent I can't identify. It's subtle. Kind of like floral-ish. I don't mind it. I assume it's a byproduct of the ions. It works exactly ad description says but I would keep it on highest setting if in a bigger room than 50 sq. Ft.

I think it's a great product for the price. It's the perfect size for all of our bedrooms. I run it all the time to help with allergens while we sleep. I definitely wake up feeling less congested. There's also a cleanliness I can smell when it's running - a little hard to describe, but I know it's working.

Great product. Bought one for my car, no more smoke smell. Ordered 4 more for around the house and will be ordering a few more to give to my kids. I did not expect how powerful those little things are. Only negative I can think of is the fan noise. Not to bad, but noticeable at night.

Love this little air cleaner. It is perfect for traveling. Hotel rooms sometimes have a dingy atmosphere. But this little power cleaner cleans and uplifts the air almost instantly. The price is also very competitive with other comparable cleaners.
