I used to be a tap water fanatic. At some point it started tasting weird and I haven't been able to stomach it since. After accepting that packs and packs of bottle water is not the way, and multitudes of product reviews, I settled on this pitcher. Initially I was concerned about slow filtering as well as it cracking easily based on other reviews. It completely removes whatever terrible chemical flavor is in the tap water. Like completely. I've banged the pitcher into the fridge door, counter and fridge shelves quite a few times in the 5 months I've had it and there's not sure much a a hairline crack or scuff. It only holds about a cup and a half at a time so it's not the fastest but it saves me tons since I'm not buying bottled water anymore. I just fill the reservoir every or every other time. I'm so spoiled I now use the filtered water to make ice cubes. Actually if I went into the fridge right now and found the pitcher exploded and water everywhere I'd immediately buy another one. If you're on the fence choosing a brand, this is the one!

Hands down the best home pitcher ever! Great aesthetics and functionality. Smart and practical. It does take time to be filtered but it works! Bravo!

This is such a nice filter. I fill up my water bottle in the morning, refill the pitcher, and enjoy my day. Additionally, I've been using it in my pet bottle and noticed my cats drinking water more and no more weird red ring in the bowel after a day of water in it.The water "tastes" clean and honestly, better than bottled. I gives me a bit of piece of mind since you never really know how good the pipes are or the water quality where you live.For just one to two people in a home this is perfect. This pitcher filters water pretty quickly but if you're continually using it, it maybe a bit too small and may want to opt for a larger size. Fills a water bottle in one go but refilling it may take a few fills of the filter.All in all I love and so does my very spoiled cat.

Tall in size, feels fragile I’m afraid it will break on me! It’s a little pricey but worth the 2 months wait!

I’ve drunk filtered water all my life, both pür and brita. Well, this time I decided to replace the chipped clunky brita I bought a few years back, and see if there’s something better out there. I’ve known about lifestraw’s actual straw filter product for a long time, so was already intrigued that they made a pitcher. I was certainly hesitant with that coal tar review, but I believe the response they gave in the questions, that they’ve removed anything harmful. They’re pretty dedicated to their clean water mission, so I don’t think they’d willingly sell something dangerous, like that other review makes it out to be. Followed the setup, and I’ve been using it for a while now, and I gotta say, this is seriously the best tasting water I have ever had. I’ve left a glass of this water out over night and the water STILL tastes better than the brita water did fresh from the filter. Already recommending it to people. Will say i got the tall one, and it’s so tall it almost didn’t fit between the shelves in my fridge! It just fits if I give minor thought into lifting the top shelf up a little bit with the side of the pitcher when putting it in or removing it, to get past the bumper on the edge of the wire shelves. A minor inconvenience compared to how much better the water tastes. Never expected to be so floored by the taste of water.

As a college student, shelling out almost 50 dollars on a water filter wasnt the easiest decision to make but it was so worth it. I drink a lot of water, like a lot, like i will finish a case of 30 bottles in less than a week and i felt horrible going through so much plastic but i cannot stand the taste of tap water so i decided to to get this. i was pretty skeptical of it actually tasting good because brita’s filtered water always ends up tasting like tap anyways but i decided to get it based on the reviews and i am pleasantly surprised. it tastes great and super easy to use. i wish i got the 10c one because i have to fill mine every time i use it but thats because i use to to fill a big water bottle i use, so it’s really no big deal. 10/10 recommend it.

More affordable than a Brita and filters so much more. Love this except that it takes long to filter. Think I’ll need to buy the larger version so I’m not having to filter water all day. Love how it looks and takes less space because it’s tall instead of wide.

I can't believe I'm dealing with this TWICE with a water pitcher. Water pitchers are not supposed to be a HEADACHE. I purchased, product was faulty, bottom was FIXED to the filter, couldn't pull it off to save my life. Tried using scissors, plastic is cheap/flimsy, cracked immediately. Got a replacement, another issue...assembled exactly how described, triple checked, NO water coming out of the bottom or going through the white filter. This is idiotic and a WASTE of money and energy. Buy something else.
