My skin is all cleared up after a month of use
I was having a really bad break out than normal, so I started using this wash and my skin is clear after a month's use. I usually have mild acne and flare ups, but that last one was bad.I should note that after washing my face, I would apply Valentia's Even Glow Serum: Vitamin C 20%. This serum is what had triggered my severe break out 2 weeks earlier before I started the wash. The break out was the serum's "first use" side affect because it draws toxins from your skin. It's possible that the serum alone is responsible for my clear skin, but it's also possible that without the wash, I would have continued breaking out from the serum.Either way, I'm not willing to find out, because I like this clear skin. Plus..I still need a wash to wash my face with and this wash is just perfect for my skin.I have a hard time finding good washes because they either leave my skin feeling not clean enough or very clean but also quite dry, but this benzoyl peroxide wash leave my skin feeling smooth, clean, and not dried out.I use this with an exfoliating glove and it seems like a perfect match. My skin feels, as I aforementioned, quite smooth afterwards. Though for a tougher job I still need to use exfoliating washes.I should point out that this stuff needs to be thoroughly washed out, and by that I mean don't just splash water on your face over a sink. Actually get under the shower head.It will bleach your hair and clothes and potentially dry out your skin if not washed off all the way.I hang my exfoliating glove up to dry after use and when I came back a day after using it with the wash for the first time, the glove was slightly bleached. Now after many uses with the wash, the blue glove has lost most of its color. And this isn't a new glove. I've used and washed it many time before with no loss in color. This saddens me a bit as this means I cannot use this as a wash twice a day unless I take 2 showers a day. And that's too much

Excellent, Simple Product
I have been dealing with a pregnancy related rash (PUPPPs) and using topical steroids to keep it under control for months. As a side effect, I've become prone to developing folliculitis (which is also uncomfortable to painful and awful looking). My dermatologist said to use a 5% benzoyl peroxide wash a few times a week to prevent the folliculitis from occurring, but it is HARD to find many products with those ingredients in that concentration! This is one of the only ones I've found outside of the pharmacy at my doctor's office, and it's been working really well. My only complaint is the type of lid (I'd prefer a flip top so that it wouldn't get clogged as easily) but the product itself is working great!

A godsend!
The 5% benzoyl peroxide wash has been amazing for my skin. I use it once a day in the shower on my face, neck, torso, back, and butt.I have always suffered from body acne since puberty and at 24 now, it can be a major pain. I had always relied on 10% washes because I figured they were higher strength and would work better. Wrong. All it did was super irritate and dry my skin out and couldn't consecutively use it because of this. With the 5%, I use it daily and sometimes twice a day. It works like a charm to keep acne at bay and has transformed my back. It's the clearest it has been in years and this is for 6+ months now. I've gone through two bottles now and will continue to order more as I need it. Give it a shot if you're in a similar situation! So worth it!Check out the picture I added. I wish I had a before to show the massive improvement. No more massive red bumps all over my back!!

Not effective enough for me
I've struggled with acne for most of my life. Tried almost everything. I've been on accutane twice. Salicylic acid products have never worked for me. BP products are usually a little more effective. This product helped my acne a little, but not enough. I'm waiting to try the 10% wash made by the same company. If you don't have moderate, cystic acne then this product may work for you.The nice things about this product are that it was not over drying and left my face soft and smooth. It really improved my skin tone as well. My face was a lot less blotchy. And a little bit goes a long way.

Not for my skin type, caused extreme aggravation
My dermatologist recommended I use this once or twice a week in place of my normal cleanser. After the first use I awoke to a very dry, red patch of itchy skin on my left cheek. I then helped my husband move some outdoor furniture around which took approximately 1 hour in cloudy conditions. By noon my face had errupted into a dry, itchy, red, swollen mess. It persisted that evening and was the worst around my chin and jawline. The next day the worse irritation was was up my nose and under it (above my lip). It was nearly unbearable so I purchased some pure aloe gel and began applying every hour or so. I am now on day three and while the swelling is down, my complexion is very red, scaly and has parts that are extremely itchy and burny. I have continued the aloe upon recommendation from the pharmacist that this is a typical reaction for someone with sensitive skin. I feel the instructions should tell you to avoid the outside all together unless you are properly covered. Instead, there were instructions to avoid "Prolonged Sun Exposure." I will not be using this again and am only thankful that I purchased the 5% solution instead of the 10% solution suggested by my dermo. I warn everyone to use EXTREME caution when using this product and avoid being outside AT ALL unless you are covered. I had 30 spf on and it did nothing to thrwart side effects of this.
