What You'd Expect
This was a nice book with a ton of skills/life hacks. Most of them are things that you've read before in listcicles and magazines, but it's nice to have them all in one place. This would be a good gift for a young person heading off to college or living on their own for the first time.

Perfect sidekick and gift!
Oh how I wish I had this book on hand 20 years ago when I was a new-to-adulting 22 year old! Better late than never, though, as I find myself referencing this book multiple times a day. From the proper way to take care of my towels, how to wake up and start the day with a positive attitude, to keeping a plant alive and more, more more....this Little Book of Life Skills is a lifesaver. I love how the book is organized by chapters and then the easily digestible expert advice. This is going to be my go-to gift for pretty much everyone I know for birthdays, Christmas, graduations, housewarming.

Little bits of info that have made my days more efficient and added some giggles!
You know those everyday household topics that you chat about with your friends? The author takes all of these and structures them into the best way to deal with them. I now make my bed just a little differently in the morning because it looks nicer. I blow out my hair with the tips I read about and it made such difference. What I love is that I can read for five minutes, an hour or flip to any page that I want. My favorite thing is that is it a feel good book and I always giggle. Thank you for making my life better and easier, Erin!

Reprint w/o the “F” word and I’ll buy a bunch!
The book is witty, funny which I love, and gives lots of great advice, but I can’t be the aunt who gives out books w/the “F” word sprinkled throughout. 😣 It’s a personal thing.

Everyone needs this book!
In the one week I've had The Little Book of Life Skills, it's already improved my life. I've been following Gretchen Rubin's tip about the One-Minute Rule and it's made such a difference. I don't put off any task that takes one minute or less. That's it. My kitchen's cleaner. My texts are answered. I'm putting mascara on before Zoom calls. This weekend I'm finally going to put up my gallery wall with the How to Hang a Picture advice. Trust me. You'll find yourself turning to this book and turning your To-Do List into a Ta-Da List (p. 218).

fun facts and an easy breezy read
The format of this book makes it easy to consult for a particular issue, the writing style makes for an enjoyable read. You can pick up and read any point, or read it cover to cover. I admit I knew most of the tips, but learned a couple of new ones and appreciated the reminders. A great reference.
