I already reviewed this product on another page but the highlights were it's my cat's favorite wet food. She has a bad tooth, so likes soft textured food, and I add a pinch of water to the can and whip it up so it's more hydrating for her. She likes gravy, which this has some, and it always looks like high quality chicken. She never has digestive problems from this food and the ingredients are all very good looking. It generally smells nice, which is important for animals to register food as food since they use their nose much more. My cat is sometimes picky, but she's been loving this food for years, and the price is not bad either, so it's her daily regular diet. She's 18 years old and sometimes runs around like a kitten, so I'd call this food healthy.

This is so wonderful!! I have the finickiest cat on the planet, and my wife and I have tried for years to find a wet food that our Meriope would eat. But for all those years, we were unsuccessful; she only would eat dry food.Enter Blue Wilderness Chicken recipe! This is the wet version of the dry kibble we were feeding her.So we tried a little, and she ate it with her kibble, followed day by day with us adding just a little bit more.Today, we gave her just the wet version, meaning to add the kibble, but she dove into it before we could. Switched our Main Coon to this and he is obsessed. Been great for his fur and bladder issues. Love the different size can options.

my cats are 15 & 16. been trying to find a food thats easy on their stomachs, and they like.I fed them this first time this am...they devoured it! So happy to find something thats good and they like it!Thank you!!!

I can't read my cat's mind, but judging by her often licked clean food bowl I'd say she likes this food :)Hence the 5 stars.It's a bit pricier than cheapo food but here's the thing, we don't have kids, we have a cat...we don't shy away from getting her pricier high quality cat food and she doesn't care about our singing skills (or lack of), tapping away at the computer (when we could be petting her), constant coffee grinder noises or yoga in the middle of the living room floor...(I suspect that's solid entertainment for her)Anyways she is 17 years old..gah..I know...don't get me started...We transitioned her to wet food years ago so she enjoys her meals..though at times she will get a wild hair and turn her nose up at the same food she's had for ages and we switch around to a different ones, this one is in permanent rotation here...hey, she's 17 which is ancient in people years and I suspect she has a touch of dementia as she forgets where her food is and acts hungry but if I place her right in front of her FULL feed dish she acts like 'WOW OH WOW FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD" So she can be a bit choosy if she wants :)Anyways this is a food she is pretty consistently pleased with. When she gets fussy we switch to an indoor formula and then back to this again..okay okay we keep two cans of food open in the fridge and give her a little variety during the day..gah, okaaaay feline parents here, we spoil her and we know it :DShe likes this chicken formula best, we tried others and she likes that it says "Mature" for a lady like herself.. :DOH and most importantly she likes that it's a pate style food, no chunks or bits or whatever it is they stick in canned food sometimes, she won't eat any chewy/chunks/nuggets if they're in a food, she likes the paste style so as I said she'll lick her bowl clean!Great choice for an aging feline companion.:)We like being able to get a whole case on Amazon so we don't run out for a while.

Purchased for a charity that was asking for cat food donations I can only rate this on the fact that I know from personal experience from my own pets that Blue Buffalo pet food products are very good with quality ingredients.

Cats like it. Good quality cat food.
