DEFECT #1: There were 4 duplicate pieces. I discovered three of them in the border – one corner and two side pieces. The last one I only discovered after much frustration, near the end of my work on the puzzle.DEFECT #2: There were 2 missing pieces. I predicted there would be missing pieces after finding the first three duplicates. I could not imagine how duplicate pieces could be included without some pieces being left out. I only confirmed the missing pieces near the end, after almost two weeks of frustration trying to complete the puzzle.DEFECT #3: The photo included with the puzzle was off center, and did not accurately reflect the edges. This caused great frustration for me, trying to use the photo to locate the position of many pieces.SELLER COMMUNICATION: When I complained about defect #1 and told them this meant there were probably some missing pieces, the seller asked for pictures. I sent pictures of #1 and #3. They told me to wait while they asked the manufacturer about these issues. Then they told me to solve the puzzle first, and tell them afterward if there were actually any pieces missing. :(If I understand their broken English correctly, they also told me the manufacturer included the duplicate pieces to ASSIST the customer in solving the puzzle! :(Problem #4: The way the pieces are cut, they must be pushed HARD into place even when they “fit” correctly. This results in confusion in determining correct fits. It also causes occasional damage when separating “false fits” to find TRUE correct fits.Problem #5: There are only 4 distinct piece designs (other than the edge pieces)!! Two of them are easily distinguished from the other two, but the other two are very similar to each other and often seem to fit in each other’s places. This results in many false fits, and more hard pushes.Problem #6: The puzzle is very complex, with many sudden color changes and few easy sections – which can be a relatively positive quality for an experienced jigsaw puzzler like me. However, this quality combined with #4 and #5 above results in MANY false fits that are virtually impossible to discern. At least ten times, I thought I had true fits but didn’t discover they were false until after lengthy and fruitless searches to find OTHER pieces, requiring me to take apart the connected pieces and backtrack.They did eventually give me a refund, which I appreciated. But it doesn't change my assessment of the puzzle and their poor customer service. The only reason I went ahead and tried to complete this puzzle was that I didn't have any other puzzles to work on -- the other puzzles I had ordered were still in transit.SUMMARY: Overall, it was (1) defective, (2) cheaply made, and (3) produced and sold by people who have little or no understanding of jigsaw puzzles. I rate the puzzle “DO NOT BUY”.

Some of the pieces were broken on delivery and the wood material on the underside of photo chips off easily. I would not order again.
