Bought this timer for use with our coffee maker. The one hour setting tends to be perfect for our morning routine with the coffee. It has also come in handy for other uses. Such as charging a phone, but not allowing it to overcharge the phone. The same with a tablet. It is very easy to use and the timing function is very accurate.

Bought this timer as a replacement for the exact same one that lasted about 6 years. It was used once a week from April through November to charge my leaf blower battery for 1 hour. Last week it stopped working. I believe it should have lasted much longer but because it worked well and is convenient I bought another.

I was skeptical about this one. Right after unboxing, I thought "oh no...I might need to return this one". It looked like one of those cheaply made. It has been about a month now and I like it so far! It is very simple to use. Don't need any instructions or the manual. Quite intuitive. We are using this to control a bathroom exhaust fan. It took a bit of getting used to, in the starting. Two issues: 1. It wasn't sitting fully in the outlet. As a result the unit gets powered off while trying to press the button. The location of the button is in the top corner, away from the unit's center of mass. As a result when you press the button to power on or to select a duration, it pushes the unit out of the electric outlet. 2. It seemed like the unit is turning off when you are making the selections. Then I started clicking the button rapidly a bit out of frustration and nothing seems to be happening. I just needed to give it a bit of time before making a selection or pressing the button again. It's all good. Apart from these couple of quirks, the unit functions well. I just wish there is also a "5 minute option". As someone else has mentioned before, I wish there is a way the unit remembers your last selection. Or make the minimal duration (10 minutes in this case) as the default option and always stay on option be the last one. We can't have everything, can we? :) Overall, I rate this is a good product!

I’m particularly nervous about leaving hot appliances on and walking away, only to come back to the house burned down. This little gadget gives me great peace of mind - I can turn on things like the iron and know 100% it will shut off, even if I forget. I can’t say I’ve ever actually left an appliance running that could burn the house down, but the worry is always there.

Easy to install. Literally just plug it in. Push the button to your desired auto shutoff timer. I bought this as a solution for my curling iron that I notoriously forget to turn off that doesn’t have a built in shutoff. And seemed to check all the boxes I looked for in a minute based timer. Lots of other timers are for 12 or 24 hours. Unfortunately, as you see from the pictures, I can not plug in my blow dryer and this automatic shutoff plug simultaneously. If I have to unplug one or the other to use it, at this point I might as well just unplug the curling iron when I’m done haha. This plug does seem to be suitable for use with a basic plug underneath so depending on your needs, it could be an appropriate solution for you. I, unfortunately, need to search for one with a smaller profile underneath that can allow for more room for the larger block plug of my blow dryer.
