what's the head thickness?

Measurements for the screws shipped to me: The head diameter is 0.420" - no washer needed for most applications. The head is very low profile. The thickness from the head seat plane and the screw top is only 0.085".

Great price for an item that is hard to find locally. I used these on the back of stands that had thin pressed wood and they installed easy with a small battery-operated drill. The size was perfect and fit as they should. I have spares now just in case I need them. The color of these really doesn't matter as they are installed on the back of the stands.
