I first purchased this fragrance at Bloomingdale's in Chicago many years ago. I had never heard of the men's fragrance, so it was a bit of a risk to buy it. Boy, I have never regretted that experience. To this day, Carolina Herrera's Herrera For Men fragrance is one of my favorites. Its deep rich scent stands far above many of the other so-called 'designer' fragrances, regardless which Hollywood celebrity has been paid to promote their brand. This fragrance is worth every penny and will not disappoint you.

About 23 years ago I was wandering around a department store and stopped by the Men's Fragrence Departmen,t more to checkout the attractive young woman working there than to checkout the fragrances.She immediately came over to help me out and we started going through the higher end offerings. I was ready to purchase something just because of the personalized service and the fact that she was smokin Hot.None of the high end stuff impressed me and she agreed with me. She then said, I have one for you, she pulled out a brown box with pink polka dots from under the counter, it was Herrera For Men and they didn't even have an open sample bottle on display.She proceeded to open it and before she sprayed it, she leaned over the counter to me and quitely whispered "this one makes me wet". I was sold and she was right.This fragrance rocks the office, you can see the women taking in a deep breath in your wake after you walk off the elevator.I never saw that sales girl again and It looks like the brown box with pink polka dots has been updated, but I've also have never purchased a different Men's Fragrence for the past 23 years.I get complements on it all the time and questions about, what are you wearing? It smells great. I tell them Herrera For Men, and the response is always the same, "never heard of it.This is why I say, I'm glad that this is getting harder to find. You used to be able to find it in most any drug store or supermarket that carried a decent selection of Men's fragrances, but not anymore.I've stocked up now with what is likely a lifetimesupply off of Amazon just in case the quit making this stuff.I love it and, women who know what they like!Highly reccommened for any man that I don't personnaly work or hang out with!

This was a blind buy for me. I am not an extremely picky person but, I consider myself having excellent taste. This smells good. Period. It’s a smell that you recognize as smelling good in the moment. But it’s also a smell that doesn’t leave an after thought. It’s an, “ah that smells good”, end of story, kind of smell. It’s not one of those, “damn that smells amazing” and then thinking of it later on, kind of smells. It could be a watered down version though too. Because you only smell it while spraying it (That might be a tiny bit dramatic 😬) But, that’s the best way for me to describe it. It’s a good blind buy and I don’t necessarily regret it. But, I’m also looking for a restock of cologne now and, I’m not buying this again. For reference, I am a female in search of the best colognes for my guy if that matters to those in a similar situation.
