Manufacturer claims tubing is non-toxic, but upon opening the box, without even opening the interior Ziploc bag, the toxic plastic smell was so overwhelming I had to take it outside to finish opening it and left it in the sun for days to air before I could even handle it. Tubing was purchased for a new fish pond, which fortunately does not have anything in it yet. If it did, I would be afraid of poisoning the fish and plants by using it. As it is I can let the pond pump run water through the tubing all winter, then change the water and populate the pond in the spring, by which time any toxins will hopefully be flushed out.

I bought this as to use as a protective tube to go over a buried cable to add weatherproofing and crush resistance.The line burial team was actually impressed by the quality of the tube and said they might start using it for line burials.I gave the team silicone sealant to prevent water from getting in the ends.The moment I got the tibe I could feel it was very rigid and sturdy.I know its intended for pools and water but its great for coaxial burials as well.

the product is rated heavy duty,very true statement great product and good price ...cut what i needed for my project like all hoses they curl up, plugged one end attached a five pound weight to this end the opposite end i hung up filled with boiling water let it cool had a straight piece of hose i needed..works great

Wow... I was honestly only needing cheap tubing in order to put water into my mister that hides behind the couch. We will use these for several functions now. Definitely not what it was intended for, but this stuff is very tough, was hard to cut, and wants to bend in its own direction. It loosened with heat, but was tightly coiled. For what I needed, I could have likely gotten cheaper at a hardware store... But this tubing is intense and very durable!

Product appeared perfect for my modest needs. Shipped quickly and was as ordered.As for price? I haven't a clue what is appropriate, this is not something I buy regularly

I needed this to drain the water from my aquarium, this fits perfectly on the nozzle of my aquarium filter and is long enough that I can drain the dirty water directly into my toilet. This is exactly what I needed and it works perfectly.

I was getting frustrated with using place irrigation tubing for a project and having to use too many elbows to make corners, as well as having to clamp connector joints to stop leaks.The tubing is soft and so seals nicely. You do, of course, need to use the nylon connectors made for it, NOT irrigation connectors which are a different size.It will turn a corner in a short distance without kinking. It is, in fact, hard to kink, unlike irrigation black tubing.This is all I'll use from now on.
