CAMELBAK Chute Mag

This has become my favourite water bottle by far. It’s solid, well built and the magnetic cap design makes it incredibly easy to use day to day. I’ve got quite a few bottles at this point but this one stands out, I even did a fair bit of research before buying and it outperformed most of the competition, apart from maybe Yeti (though that one’s a lot bulkier). I’ve taken this on holiday and left it out in the sun to the point that the outside was too hot to touch, but the water inside was still ice cold. The wide mouth makes it easy to clean or put ice in when needed, and there's no odd taste from the plastic lid either. It’s properly leakproof and durable, and I’ve recommended it to a few people already. Unfortunately, CamelBak seem to have changed the design recently and the newer version doesn’t perform quite as well. Real shame, as the original was spot on. If you can still find this older version, it’s an easy recommendation.

It keeps cold stuff cold and hot stuff hot. Perfect for when assignment deadline is looming! The stainless steel is a major upgrade on my old plastic Eddy bottle. This is a top quality piece of kit from Camelbak - expensive yes but given it's durability it's worth that initial outlay. Unlike trendy Stanley mugs I can happily throw this bottle in my backpack for uni without any worries as chute mag top closure means zero leaks. 750ml capacity for me is perfect, weight when full isn't overly cumbersome. Chute mag top is really easy to use, can't be over tightened so even when my spanner hands partner has closed it my wee arthritic fingers can still get it open without any trouble. I struggled to settle on a colour initially but the brilliant white is really striking, very easily found and looks fantastic when personalised with a vinyl sticker.

Great bottle, keeps liquid hot/cold. The green colour is really nice. Of my own fault I did drop it and it dented pretty easily - so careful!

This bottle is the GOAT. I hate bottles with straws and this maximises speed of drinking. Keeps drinks cold for ages. Make sure you do the lid up properly, it is leakproof if you do

Great bottle, super sturdy and well built the only problem I would potentially say is the hinge might break at some point but I have had 2 years now and no signs of breaking yet or weakening yet. Great thermal retention for hot and cold drinks, I use it everywhere and all the time, up mountains, off-roading, climbing, construction sites, in festivals, in the office, even some nights out! I have dropped it or knocked it over a hundred times easily on a variety of surfaces and there's only a couple of very minor paint scuffs. To be expected but overall the paint layer seems to be pretty durable given the amount of tarmac or concrete hits its taken. Overall I would highly recommend!! :)

Really good bottle. A large size to keep drinks cool or hot. Fantastic customer service. Gave the bottle to me free as the wrong colour was accidentally sent. Doesn't leak. The lid can be partially removed for easier repeated drinking. Seals well when closed properly and doesn't leak at all in my bag, as some previous other cups have. Very nice design. Can be pricey but I got a good price on and Amazon deal.

My 2nd one of these, I lost the 1st one. The cap has a magnetic attachment so it stays out of your way when you're drinking. It's very good as a flask, although it seems to be better at keeping things hot than cold. You have to make sure your coffee is cold enough to drink, because it won't chill naturally! As a flask, it can get dinged up if you're not careful enough, but it doesn't have a glass insert to worry about. Finally, as a Camelbak bottle, they sell replacement caps, and you could probably get a different, but compatible cap if you like.

I knew that Camelbak make good water bottles. But… I didn’t know they were this good. It has been part of my every day carry for the past few months. It keeps water cool for over a day. Build is sturdy. Planning to buy a second one soon.

I bought this to replace a plastic based trail running water bottle that cracked open when I dropped it out on the trail. This metal based water bottle is very sturdy so I don't worry about repeathing that experience. I like that it stands up well to the dishwasher and best of all it really holds the temperature of the fluid inside for a very long time. I filled this with some cold water with a few ice cubes and 20 hours later it was still a very pleasant temperature. It fits well into the pouch provided on the trail running pack and my everyday backpack. My only worry is that I have a tendency to leave my water bottles in Ubers and that would hurt if I lost this one that way.
