Great paddles
These paddles are lightweight and durable, with a fairly large diameter to the handle. The hooks have come in handy many times, for dislodging snagged fish hooks. I have 3 of these. If I lost one, I would definitely buy another. The camo looks pretty cool, too.

Great paddle!
I have a sit in top kayak and went with the 260. Should have gone with the 250 instead, so check your sizing. The paddle is very responsive, very well made, looks fantastic, and is not very heavy. It has an adjustment so you can have the paddles slightly twisted for more efficiency in the water. The blades are very tough and rigid, even strong enough to use to push away from the bank of a river or a beach. The hook cutout is helpful if you snag a hook, but honestly I use it to paddle and it works great, better than the paddles that came with my kayak.Again, check the sizing. I went with a 260 and should have gone with a 250, I would have asked for an exchange but missed the window.Only thing I would suggest is either use gloves or add a wrap to the handle because depending on the length of time on the water, you can get blisters.Overall an excellent paddle!!! I would certainly purchase again.UPDATE:Ok, I've been using this paddle for awhile now and initially I thought going with a 250 would have been better, but I have since then changed my mind. I did do a bit of a modification to the paddle. Instead of using gloves, I bought bicycle handlebar tape and wrapped the handle. IT IS NOW PERFECT!!!I highly recommend wrapping the handle, it makes the paddle so comfortable.

I'm glad it came with the little drip rubbers on the end
This is the nicest paddle I've ever owned. I wish it was slightly more high-vis or if there was an orange one to match the o.t. kayak, BUT I absolutely love the green. I think this will last a long time. Very light and comfortable to hold.

Nice but, but.....
Haven't been able to use it yet but paddle seems very nice and fits together well and much lighter than my old paddle. Only issue is maybe something that wouldn't bother others but the measuring ruler is facing the wrong way. When holding paddle as you should the numbers are upside down and start from right instead of left!

Great paddle and even better company to work with
Extremely satisfied with the paddle, and even more importantly, their customer service. I HIGHLY recommend Carlisle! I unfortunately had an issue with my paddle recently that was not a warranty claim and reached out to Old Town/Carlisle customer service asking if I could just purchase the broken half of the paddle. They immediately responded with options to help, and ultimately ended up replacing the entire paddle for me. Was not expecting that at all. They were helpful, friendly and wanted my experience to be a positive one. Absolutely recommend and all of my future paddle purchases will be Carlisle brand. Thank you.

Awesome
Awesome lightweight paddle. Feels nice in your hand and has 3 settings based off you rowing preference. Use it for a fishing kayak and like the extra hook retrieval build in. I would definitely buy again.

This paddle works well
I bought the longest, over 9.5 feet, it feels shorter, the weight is good

Great value.
I haven't had to use this paddle much yet but I used it to paddle out of some thick weeds so my trolling motor wouldn't get tangled and it seems like a nice paddle so far. The grip is a bit thicker than the other one I have but I could get use to that. I like the lure retriever cutouts. I have actually used them on this paddle but my other paddle has a sinilar cutout and it's great for getting lures out of trees when I'm paddling by. I honestly don't use the offset feature but it does have that. It also has a ruler on it so you can measure those lake monsters. I do wish they had the photic color in160mm because the kayak I bought this for (Old Town Sportsman Autopilot 136) is photic camo. Overall I think this paddle is a great paddle at a decent price. If you are going down fast white water rivers often then maybe spend the money to get that high end paddle but if not this thing is perfect.
