I was quite surprised with the quality of this, sense a lot of the reviews were quite bad. I put this into my Redcat Racing Volcano EPX PRO, and it's worked great. It hasn't broken yet, or stripped. The disadvantage is that the holes are slightly too small, so on a couple I had to drill them to make them fit. The quality isn't amazing or anything, but for the price it's great.

Case came empty not completed. Obviously package contains used case with grease no gears

Good price for the pair but had to drill out the rear main gear pin hole to allow installation without binding. Stripped the front pinion gear on first launch and hard stop. Rear diff holding up for now. Surviving parts will become spares I suppose. Redcat Volcano EPX Pro. First run 2S final run on 3S.

Quality of part is not as good as factory hsp, redcat parts.. Differential carrier bearing is offset to make clearance for ring gear bolts that are not countersunk like the factory parts, this offset isn't achieved with shims, the bearing simply isn't pressed all the way onto the plastic casing.. And will float after first use i would not buy these again over factory originals

At first I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the casing and the quality of the gear and driveshaft. Then upon further inspection I noticed that the bearing for on the inside of the gearbox is grossly oversized. Allowing the main driveshaft to wobble around quite a good fit inside of the housing. So when installed onto my red cat, I had to use my old front housings because I knew the bearing tolerance would cause issues and strip the gears. After doing a couple of work bench test runs with the car fully assembled, the right rear drive axle is not engaged in the differential anymore. I would probably suggest purchasing these gearboxes elsewhere.

They turn the wrong way than the ones that I have...there is a difference

Screws on Differential was short and it didn't everything inside properly. Build quality not good

Front diff striped when receved haven checked rear but the cups are super loss not worth the money
