H2O 400054UK X5-Super Edition (Red) Mop, Plastic, 1300 W

Love this mop. cleans everything and throughly. Easy to use.

I like steam and this really fits the bill - it's lightweight, easy to use on so many things and does a very good job. I'd recommend it to anyone.

When I opened the box there seemed to be a daunting number of little polythene bags, but once I got started I found most of the items fairly intuitive to attach, that is,once I managed to Detach the handle to use them, since this took a bit of fingernail-breaking effort, but I expect that is a bit of a knack and I must admit I was a little impatient to try the 'bits', having used the floor mop and found it light, maneuverable, and very efficient. Except that is for the little cleaning pad, which seems too small, and didn't get right into the corners, so I used one from my old steam mop, which is bigger and much better. The tiles (ceramic) dried quickly and I noticed that one or two small bits of 'trodden in' food softened and were cleaned away if I left the steam on them for just a few seconds. There were no streaks or puddles, and the floor looks quite shiny.I steamed over my two door mats, and although, as expected, the cleaning wasn't great, but it did freshen them up. I also steamed over the small carpeted area at the dining end of my kitchen, and that was fresher too. I didn't find any problem with the carpet glider not being 'attached'.Using the hand heldI found it very useful to be able to switch off the steam with a simple button, so that I could wipe of the dirt from my hob etc, but the tiny scrubbing brushes are, again,too small to clean the sink quickly, still that's probably me, rushing to get the job done. The oven door doesn't look a whole lot better, but I expect another 'go' will improve things. The lavatory bowl and seat were clean and shiny when I had just given them a quick blast, but they are done every day anyway, with detergent and brush, and were not exactly dirty. I have not yet used the window cleaning or clothes steaming bits,Including reading the manual, unpacking the bits, and trying the ones mentioned, took under an hour, so I am fairly happy with my purchase.

Cleans perfectly the whole house

There are already many reviews of the H20 X5 that extol its virtues on here, so I won't go into all of that again here. Suffice to say that this mop fulfils all reasonable cleaning requirements demanded of it, provided you don’t expect it to be a miracle worker!And yes! The top part of the handle is a bit flimsy! But on realising this, and using some common sense, one can easily work around this (minor) issue and prevent any damage to the mop by applying less force/leverage through the top of the handle as appropriate!However I feel I must respond to one of the chief complaints made against the X5 that has been mentioned in a worrying number of the reviews I’ve read of it on here. Specifically these complaints are along the lines of, “It won’t stand up by itself!!” and “The advert shows it standing by itself – but it doesn’t!!” and “Misleading!! I want my money back!!” etc, etc, etc.I must reassure potential buyers now that this is TOTALLY INCORRECT if one is not afraid to use a little common sense and some experimentation.So let me correct this now:The H20 X5 DEFINATELY DOES have the ability to stand unsupported by itself – but seeing as people are obviously having difficulty working out how to make theirs perform this miraculous feat, I will give a quick guide below:(I admit, the instruction manual makes no mention of how to do this!)Firstly: The X5 must be fitted with the large floor mop attachment – it won’t stand with any other attachments fitted!Then: To make the mop stand unassisted, simply hold down the front of the floor attachment with your foot to stop it moving, while at the same time pushing the handle of the mop away from you.You will feel some resistance. Push through the resistance and an audible ‘click’ will be heard.This is the mop locking itself in the upright position.The mop will now stand upright by itself – provided there isn’t a force-9 gale blowing through your house at the time!Finally: To disengage the mop from upright, repeat the above steps but this time pull the mop handle towards you instead of away until the ‘click’ is heard.That’s it!(I can only presume people have been unable to make theirs stand in the past as they were afraid that pushing it beyond the resistance point was going to break it. Trust me, it won’t!)Have fun!

Worked a treat for a few months then stopped producing steam. Really disappointed.

It’s so easy to use fairly light and very good Getty hidden dirt out

This was a very big disappointment. It switches on but does not heat up at all AND SO, NOT making any steam. Not at all like the demonstration on it.I’ll advise not to waste your money on this item

Jag har aldrig använt en ångmopp förut så jag var lite tveksam men den här var ju super! Lätt att använda och det blir väldigt rent.

gia' conoscevo il prodotto quindi tutto nella norma,peccato che mi e' stato inviato con spina di corrente americana quindi ho dovuto spendere altri 12 euro per un kit adattatore alle nostre prese italiane.

Très bon produit avec une bonne prise en main mais attention il nécessite un adaptateur car la prise est anglaise.

Did not get any of the additional accessories, just the mop, and usual attachments. No extra pads as advertised.
