Lindt Excellence Bar (Dark Chocolate Intense Orange) - Pack of 4

I knew it was a risk when i bought them. Love Lindt chocolate bars BUT it's summer time shipped from a company out of New Jersey. Seven long days in the PO system in hot weather. Wasen't dark chocolate with intense orange flavor anymore. light brown and white from being melted and no flavor. DON'T DO IT in the summer, fall or winter.

This Dark chocolate order arrived and was immediately placed in the refrigerator pending the depletion of 2 prior bars I still had. Finally upon opening one of the latest products, the expected dark chocolate was a very faded light brownish, even less than a milk chocolate shade and the design was flat and barely distinguishable. Apprehensive, I gave it a taste try almost 21 squares and it was "ugly." Not dark chocolate, not milk chocolate, no overt signs of mold, but a musty aftertaste. Sampling the rest of the bars produced the same observations. Apparently sitting on a shelf too long. Discarded all remaining. No seeking refund, not worth the trouble. Probably return to buying local for this type of product.

I love this chocolate combination. Lindt Dark chocolate with orange pieces is my favorite and I think Amazon has the best price, at least as far as I can find. I buy it all the time.

Half were fine but half were stale and totally inedible!

Great flavor, just the right amount of "ORANGE". Good expiration date too.

I ordered a favorite chocolate bar of the family that is hard to find where I live. Grateful to get it during times that are very hard for everyone. Thank you for your work.

One of my favorite chocolate bars!!! I love the mild tanginess of the orange blended with the rich dark chocolate. I think this is one of the more popular flavors of the Lindt chocolate bars.

My new favorite dark chocolate. A great burst of orange flavor with delicate almonds. Lindt is surpurb.
