Well built quality piece. Has a textured top rather than the smooth surface I had anticipated based on the photos.

I've purchased and received countless furniture items from here and I'd say this is the best quality side table/ end table / night stand that I have received. When the box arrived, I noticed it was much heavier than the tables I normally receive. You do have to assemble this which I find less tolerable with each passing year, but this one was worth it and it took less than 15 minutes for me to do it by myself. I love the color of the gray stain on the top and on the shelf. The shelf didn't seem to fit quite perfectly but it stays in place so I'm not worried about it. The top and the legs are extremely sturdy. The wood is heavy and sturdy. This is a definite recommend for me. I wish I had more like these.

I was very surprised by the heft of this end table. It's very solidly made. So you can put a glass lamp on it without fear of it toppling over as some chintzy end tables do. I didn't have too hard a time putting it together, it was much easier than many other furniture I've purchased. It looks more expensive than it is and I cannot say enough about the solid make of it. I'd purchase another one.

We ordered the end table. It arrived packed neatly. It did require assembly, but to be honest I cannot comment on how complicated the process is since I hired someone to assemble this along with other pieces I had purchased.In all, it looks as pictured, and makes a great addition to our family room.
