The Wild Robot Escapes

I read this book with my three and six year old. My six year old obviously has a better understanding. But even my three year old knows he wants Brightbill and Roz to be okay and together. He may not get everything, but he listens the entire time. I have enjoyed reading this series because it’s a story I actually enjoy at the age of 30! The chapters are short, so it’s easy to stay engaged but also find a stopping point if we get too antsy before bed! My six year old loves these books! I would highly recommend them to families and young readers!

The Wild Robot series by Peter Brown is absolutely amazing! It’s such an engaging and heartwarming story that my seven-year-old absolutely loves. The series is packed with adventure, emotion, and valuable lessons, making it a perfect choice for young readers. Since it’s a chapter book, it might be a little challenging for second graders to read on their own, but reading it together as a parent-child activity is wonderful. After we finished the series, we watched the movie, and it was just as amazing! I highly recommend this series—it’s a great way to bond with your kids while enjoying a fantastic story.

Have a three book series my grandchildren absolutely love. Encourages reading stories they like.

After the incredible journey of the first book, I bought "The Wild Robot Escapes" for my 8-year-old son, and he absolutely loved it. It’s rare to find a sequel that lives up to the original, but this one managed to be just as engaging and emotionally resonant. The story of Roz the robot trying to find her way back to her island and her son, Brightbill, really touched my son’s heart. He was on the edge of his seat during the action scenes and asked so many thoughtful questions about Roz's feelings and her choices. The short chapters and beautiful illustrations make it perfect for young readers to stay focused and motivated. If your child enjoyed the first book, this is a must-have. It’s a beautiful exploration of family, belonging, and what it means to be "wild." My son couldn't put it down, and it has further fueled his love for reading!

Amazing series! My students lost book 2 so I purchased another.

My kids are enjoying this series! They started this as a summer read, and kept going.

This was a fun book to read with my son. The adventures Roz and brightbill go on to make their way back to the island was fun. My son loved this book and is excited to read the next book.

Une suite prenante, émouvante, qui nous rappelle au combien l'amour et le respect sont les seules valeurs qui peut sauver notre monde. A mettre entre tout les mains d'enfants... et même d'adultes ! Ce livre m'aura fait versé des larmes (je suis adultes !) Une fois lu le Tome 1, et enchainé ce Tome 2, on ne peut qu'enchainer sur le dernier de la trilogie :)

Excellent book. My daughter loved it. She is 9 years old.

My 6 year old loves reading them and is obsessed with the series. He wouldn't put it down until he finished. His first chapter book!
