Compare Ascella X to the 4 wheel underseater spinner
I travel internationally for work, and decided I wanted a roller bag for my laptop vs a backpack. I have a standard Dell laptop issued from work, dimensions 12.5inch by 8.25 inch. Below I purchased and compared the Samsonite underseat 4 wheel spinner with the Samsonite Ascella X 2 wheeled underseater.Overall the teal vs ocean blue color are really close in color, which is the color I wanted. And both are almost identical in outer dimension and similar weight when lifted. The spinner is about 1/2 inch taller when sitting upright. The Ascella X is on the left in my pictures.Overall my work laptop was too big for the 4 wheel spinner, the bag would not close with my laptop in the pouch. So no go for me. But otherwise was a nice bag that I would have probably kept. See below for the full comparison.Samsonite underseat spinnerPro - 4 wheel spinner, has an option for an extension battery pack (if you need that), telescope handle easy to select lower height if neededCon - handles are floppy fabric material, the front pocket when zipped fully open flaps open and not able to hold or clip up, laptop pouch can not handle anything longer than 11.5inch and still close (is sewn in at bottom)Samsonite Ascella X- 2 wheeled underseaterPro - handles have some rigidity to them which would be easy to find and grab handles, the front pocket when fully unzipped has an option to clip to the side of the main bag so won't flop open unless you want that, laptop pouch able to hold my laptop and I could probably slid an iPad in with it as well.Con - only 2 wheels vs spinner, only 1 interior side pocket inside the main compartment (vs the 4 wheel spinner has 2), front flap has the laptop pouch so you don't have an extra large mesh pocket (only a smaller one in front of laptop pouch), was not as easy to select lower height on the telescope handle had to fully extend and go back down to lower height but did end up stick at the lower height after this process.Overall minor details I would not have known if I didn't buy 2 together to compare.

Best Bag Ever
This case is absolutely fantastic. I love it, its it fits under the airplane seat and holds most travel necessities. It’s enough for a 3-4 day trip. It’s very well made and can slide down on my roller bag. It’s perfect and nice looking. Buy with confidence. I admit the price made me gulp but it’s worth every penny.

Worth the purchase!
This bag is really nice. I travel quite a bit and struggle with larger computer bags fitting in overhead bins. This bag works perfect. My Mac book pro 13” fits perfectly with room to spare for books and other needed items. Some reviews say the handle is a bit flimsy, but I’ve not had any trouble with it and have been using it for months. I’d buy it again.

Convenient Carry-On Suitcase: Not a Good Underseater
I took this bag with me on an international trip and it worked relatively well. The inside laptop pocket and side pocket are really convenient and the suitcase rolls quite easily. It is the perfect size for a weekend trip comfortably fitting 2-3 outfits, a laptop and a some toiletries. My only issue with this bag, and why I gave it 4 stars, is that it's advertised as an underseater, but does not fit easily under an airplane economy seat. If it is not completely full and you don't have a laptop you're worried about damaging on the inside pocket, you can squish it underneath the seat in front of you with some force. However, there is barely enough room for you to rotate the bag flat and push it underneath the seat with your legs in the way. So, if you're in the window or middle seat and other people are already seated in your row, it can make for a lot of awkward bumping and maneuvering. And forget trying to take anything out of it midflight. The easy solution is to just place the bag in the overhead bin-- but given the number of carry ons you have or how crowded the flight is, this might not always be an option. Overall, I like this bag a lot of will continue to use it, but I will not rely on it as an underseater.

Fits Under Seat
This suitcase works as advertised. So far it has fit under seats, sometimes a tight fit, but fits. Nice to have luggage right at your feet. Seems to be built well, rolls easily, zippers are placed so it is easy to access without having to pull out from under seat or to get up and retrieve from overhead bin. Also eliminates the problem of trying to find overhead bin space or have to check your bag.I wasn’t to sure about the larger than normal strap handles but found they were easy to gab for lifting or carrying on escalators.

Fits under seat Southwest
This fits under the seat next to window on Southwest, Boeing 737-800. My work HP laptop barely fits in the sleeve of the bag, but then I discovered that I could not zip it shut. The laptop is too long. It packed fine in the body of the bag, on top of my clothes. Very sturdy. Does not fall over. Fits through the aisle while rolling it.

Don’t buy
This is the second one I have bought and had it less then a year and handle kept getting stuck and grinding going up or down till it stopped moving all together . Had the same thing happen to the first one I bought . Both times I was on a work trip and it broke … do not waste your money
