Simple Designs LT2008-OFF Mini Ceramic Globe Table Lamp, Off White

I recently purchased the Simple Designs LT2008-OFF Mini Ceramic Globe Table Lamp because I was looking for a small, stylish lamp to fit on my desk. The off-white ceramic globe design looked great in the pictures, and it seemed like a perfect match for my space.Design & Aesthetics:The lamp itself is cute and compact, just like I wanted. The mini ceramic globe has a modern, minimalist look that would work well with a variety of decors. It's small enough to fit on a table or nightstand without taking up much space, which was a plus for me.Bulb Compatibility:However, the lamp does not use a standard bulb, which was a major disappointment. It requires a specific type of bulb that I found hard to locate. After spending time searching for the right replacement bulb, I realized it just wasn’t practical for my needs, especially since I prefer to use commonly available bulbs. The fact that the lamp isn't compatible with standard bulbs significantly limited its usability, and it just didn’t make sense for me to keep it.Return Experience:Given that the bulb compatibility issue was a dealbreaker for me, I ended up returning the lamp. It was easy to return, but the overall inconvenience of trying to find the correct bulb made the experience less than ideal.Conclusion:While the Simple Designs Mini Ceramic Globe Table Lamp looks great and has a sleek design, I couldn’t recommend it due to the hassle of finding the right bulb. If you're okay with hunting down a specific type of bulb and don’t mind that inconvenience, it could be a good choice. For me, however, the fact that it's not compatible with standard bulbs made it impractical, and I decided to return it.

Yes, the lamp is smaller but the dimensions are in the description so whose fault is it for being surprised if the lamp shows up smaller than expected. It is small in general for a lamp but I love it. It’s perfect for each side of my bed for each night stand and keeps the room lit up with a warm touch not too bright. With it being smaller it gives me room on my night stands and I love the blue color. It’s simple, not too expensive and works just like any other lamp I've had. You just cant please everyone (especially for how cheap it is). No complaints.

I ordered this cute lamp in white. It is a mini lamp, & is really small, which is what I wanted. The problem is that the light that was recommended is too tall & sticks out of the top of the shade. If you order this lamp, don’t order the bulb that is recommended!

I bought two of these in black. Yes, they are cute and would work as a night light with a night light bulb which is what I intended to do with an LED night light bulb. Based on other reviews I wouldn't trust this with a hotter bulb. However, they lamps are way too light weight wobbly, too easy to tip over and very fragile! Before I unraveled one of the cords, I set it on a table and the cord dangling off the edge had enough weight to pull the lamp to the floor. Broke into a million pieces. The bottom is made of a pretty fragile ceramic and due to the light weight of it and the heaviness of the cord, the cord pulled it off the table. The other thing is why did they put a stark white cord on a black lamp? It stands out horribly. I will have to look for something a little more solid and stable. But having so easily broken one before I got to try it out, I have the other one, but will not be purchasing this again.

Cute and perfect for bathroom night light as it is just enough light. Bulb not included, but available on Amazon. A great hallway lamp to leave on at night for safety and no need to turn on overhead light.

PLEASE, anyone looking for a small lamp don't be deceived by the add that calls this a lamp! I needed a lamp for my headboard and chose this one. First they don't tell you UPFRONT that it only takes a 6-watt bulb the exact size and shape of a Christmas Tree lightbulb; YES, I am referring to the ones you string up outside your house at Christmas. But, because these people are so underhanded in the way they're out to get your money they don't tell you ANY of this! And after you screw the bulb in which is tricky in itself because you have to pull up on the part that's going to hold the bulb in place, while your holding the bulb and maneuvering the shade —at the same time...And after you've accomplished this exercise in manual dexterity and infinite patience by now you definitely know the bulb isn't the only thing that just got screwed! Now you have a lamp that's all of 6"-inches high and it's so small that the Christmas lightbulb is extended a good 2 inches OVER the rim of the shade...One of my Dad's old classic Zippo lighters would have given off more light than this lamp! Excellent gift for someone you intensely dislike...like back in the day you'd give somebody a Chia Pet (and no Amazon, I'm not saying anything bad about the product itself; it was just a gift that said you didn't put any real effort into shopping for the person).

Exactly what I wanted. It is a *very* small lamp I could put a low watt bulb in and use as a night light so I wouldn't trip over the dogs in the dark if I had to get up and "powder my nose" at 2AM. For potential purchasers, be aware that this is a *very* small lamp - not the size you would put on an end table or even bed side table. As I stated, more of a size you'd use to illuminate a small, dark corner of the house or use as a night light in a hallway. I have read some complaints about not knowing what sort of bulb to put in it: SIMPLE SOLUTION - you need to get a "candelabra" type bulb, readily available at any Walmart. I bought an LED candelabra bulb for mine, it is 60 watts of light for 6 watts of power. As it is LED it will probably still be working when I am long gone. You just screw it right into the center where the bulb normally goes on any lamp. Works great.
