Every Miss Julia book I have read so far has been so entertain. Every character is someone you can identify with and so many laughs. These books are nice easy reads. No violence or over the top anything. Just good wholesome reads and spectacularly entertaining.

The "Miss Julia" book series is very entertaining! I have purchased and enjoyed every single book of this series and will buy each new book as soon as they are available in the future. I have passed the book series on to several different people and each of them enjoyed the reading as much as I did. I recommend that readers start from Book 1 and make your way through the entire series.

One of the best books I have read for entertainment in quite a while. This book led me to buy the remaining 16 in the series (one is a pre-order, out in March, 2016). There is not a poor read in the bunch. Ann Ross's characters are so lovable and so human, that I defy anyone to read them and not see themselves in one or more of the characters. I found myself laughing out loud while reading this, and the rest in the series. The plot is suspenseful, but never predictable. It seems like anytime I ever thought to guess how a situation would turn out, I was always wrong. Wonderful reading, highly recommended!!

Thoroughly entertaining. This would be a wonderful sitcom on the television some weeknight good clean wholesome entertainment that would make everyone laugh.

She isn’t always getting herself and family and friends out of trouble. But the love she shares along the way make the trips enjoyable.

These charming little books by Ann B Ross are just the read when you are feeling down, or if you want a lighter read between hefty tomes. Here the redoubtable Miss Julia has to contend with, amongst other things, town gossip about her and Sam, the long suffering admirer; a religious revival, and a party for a transgender lady recently returned from New York. She tries so hard to be that mannered Southern lady, but somehow........

Great to have found a comic writer I did not know and, a whole series to get through! The books, like Evanovitch, have a whole cast of comic characters who surround Miss Julia which makes the entertainment richer.
