I really like horn combs. No static. They sort of fluff ones hair and tame fly-aways. They’re sturdy and they last really well. And, the main thing, they float nicely through your hair.This one does most of that. The teeth are a little overdone. The edges of the teeth are cut a whole lot sharper than is entirely necessary. This makes this particular comb catch more than it would have otherwise. The wood is nicely finished and it’s generally well made. Just went a bit too far with the milling.Also, while the case is a nice gesture, it’s really on the cheesy side. As far as storage goes, it’s not much help. The velveteen sleeve is adequate for throwing it in a drawer or bag.I considered getting another and sending this back, but really didn’t want to go through the whole process again. So, now it’s mine.It gets the job done, and will probably last years, assuming I manage to hold onto it. I wish I could be more whole hearted and hope this is helpful to someone. Thank you.

A most beautifully made comb - very, very smooth! - and presented in a nice, lined box. I have been able to use this comb on my hip length hair, whether wet or dry. The teeth are fairly close together, yet still really sturdy. The wood frame is amazingly smooth (not achieved by over-varnishing, but by great sanding), the wood has gorgeous graining, and the shaping feels great in the hand.The design is nicely curved to follow the shape of the head. It isn't "froo-frooey", but has an understated elegance, so would be equally nice for a man or woman.I would definitely recommend this product. I wish, now, that I'd gotten several for nice stocking stuffers.

While my first comb arrived damaged, the replacement was perfect, and came before it was supposed to arrive at that. The comb is great to use on all hair.

i have no static. the comb came beautifully and securely packaged. there is one tooth i have to sand though-it pulls out strands of my hair

Really smelled bad when received, like sewage. Seemed to be the velvet storage bag. Threw it out. Had to wash comb with soap and toothbrush three times to get rid of smell. Otherwise great comb.

The comb, when it first is unpackaged, stinks. It is a sort of dead animal/sewerage smell. My guess is that the horn of the comb was not treated properly or something. Apart from that, the comb works in my (very east asian) hair very well. My hair became noticeably silkier almost immediately after I started using it. To be fair I had gone from almost no hair care apart from shampoo (not even any conditioner) to using the comb.

Arrive very quick. Packaged beautifully (as pictured). Beautifully weighted. Awesome on the scalp and glides easily through my hair. I have lots of hair and it really glides through easily. My scalp tingles when I use it which encourages me to use it a lot. Because we all love that scalp feeling. Very happy with my purchase.
