First of all this is special! Pick it up, have a glance - you will suddenly be fully immersed! The subject matter was always going to be fascinating but it needed a keen eye, strong knowledge & natural insight to deliver such a quality book, I'm pleased to say its 10/10 on every level! Well made too - Neatly constructed whilst feeling v robust. Fabric lovers to textile students to experts in the field - this book delivers & will inspire all.

Admire Rosemary Crill as a chronicler of Indian textiles. Only, I was disappointed there was no detailing of the various range of textiles in India and their history. However it is a collectors item especially for me having been involved with weavers and textiles for forty years!
