One very Sharp knife
This knife comes razor sharp, be careful. The sheath for this knife has quite a few options for the angle of belt-carry. Although when inserting the knife into the sheath you have to make sure to push it IN all the way to have it securely stay sheathed. It is fairly easy to think you have it fully sheathed when you don't. When the knife is pushed into the sheath fully there is an audible 'click' sound, and it takes some effort to remove the fully sheathed blade. I have no complaints about the quality of this knife, it has a sturdy blade with highly grippable scaling on the handle which is hex-screwed flush into the tang. The spine of the blade is a very sturdy 3.45 mm., (or 17/128"), and full-tang stays thick until you get near the very sharp tip. It has a full-inch of grippy jimping on the blade just in front of the handle. It feels comfortable & secure in the hand, ergonomic. The knife w/o the sheath weighs in at 3.2 oz. (or 91 gm.). It is not the cheapest knife, but it looks like it could last a lifetime plus some.

Use this everyday carry . Feels fine in hand , holds a sharp edge. Every thing from prep work in kitchen to cutting roap. Boxes , what have ya. Worked fine skinning a deer and bear this past fall. Honey for the money

Absolutely Beautiful
The knife came in a small pine gift box (Which isn't listed that I'm aware of but it's awesome) the blade has an excellent smooth finish on it and is razor sharp. It's very close to the ESEE Izula II in terms of size and grip but honestly fits the hand even better. It's also S35VN so it's a higher grade steel than the Izula II as well. It's not cheap price wise but it's also not cheap build wise. Excellent knife and I will be buying more from this brand in the future.

Great knife
I own three of their knives (this one, fire craft 3 & 7). My only complaint is the fit when it comes to the sheaths. I notice their kydex sheaths feel very tight, I had heck of a time getting the FC3 in and out, but hopefully overtime the action will improve, or I’ll take a small file to remove material from the sheath. I contacted the manufacturer to inquire about a sheath replacement, but I never heard back from them.I set up this knife for horizontal carry, it’s comfortable and I forget that it’s there. For this model (at least with mine) you have to push the knife in hard until it clicks in. If you don’t hear the click, there’s a great chance the knife will fall out because it won’t be secured. I own many knives with kydex sheaths, I’d say this company has some improvements that I hope they work on. It’s always a downer when the knife’s accessories don’t do it justice. There are so many knives that I passed up due to poor sheaths/scales (BK2 for example); I can’t bring myself to drop an additional $100 on mods when the knife itself is already being sold at a premium price when it’s a simple steel or even a super, if it’s discounted significantly, I may reconsider. For example I love Esee’s, but often times I have to mod them to make them feel “complete,” however they’ve done a great job in offering a different variety of scales, I just wish their sheaths were a little higher quality but they are better than most and are fully functional even though they’re not kydex or a style I’d prefer. Let’s face it, Esee is all about their warranty, you only need to buy the knife once and it’s yours forever (or as long as they’re in business). If you buy a knife and it’s sheath is nonfunctional, what use is the knife if you can’t safely carry it?This knife is a great secondary blade for small tasks.

Backpacker Pro
The knife itself is fantastic. It is lightweight, extremely sharp out-of-the-box and feels good in the hand. I don’t like the sheath. There are multiple options of how you can place the holster. The screws that hold it to the belt loop came loose frequently.I might order of the backpacker in the future to have the neck knife, the knife is fantastic, I just didn’t like the sheath

This is my 2nd white river knife and the fit and finish of both is impressive. This knife is a refined izula 2, more expensive but worth it in my opinion. The steel takes a very good edge and holds it well. Couldn’t be happier with it. The sheath is very versatile and locks in good.
