The armrests are not ergonomic; they are very awkward and uncomfortable. Super bad design
The seat and back are reasonably comfortable and supportive. However, unless you are a large adult whose body fills the entire seat, the armrests are terrible. They are too far apart so you have to wing your elbows out to reach them. The top surface of the armrest is like a shallow trough, as if your entire forearm was going to be resting on it, but way out from your body and only straight out, parallel to each other. When using a keyboard, your elbows sit across the armrests at an angle, and the edges of the "trough" are very uncomfortable. The tops of the armrests slant outward and down, so your elbows tend to slide off, to the outside of the armrest. If you sit fully against the back of the seat, your elbows don't even touch the armrests. The armrests only adjust up and down; they have no other adjustment option. In short, these armrests are so bad that plan to buy a new chair. In the meantime, I spend a lot of time working hard to get comfortable with pillows as armrests.

roll easy
it's a well made chair. I bought the better wheels for it, so it doesn't leave marks on my wood floors.
