Sensitive skin
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the Doublebase Dry Skin cream for a while now, and it has quickly become a must-have in my skincare routine. The pump bottle design makes it super easy to use—no mess or waste. The itself is smooth, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling instantly moisturized and soothed. It's especially effective on very dry or irritated skin, including areas affected by eczema which i have. After regular use, I noticed a big improvement in skin softness and hydration. The formula is gentle and suitable for both adults and children, making it great for the whole family. The 250g size is generous and lasts a good while even with daily use. I also appreciate that it's fragrance-free, which is ideal for sensitive skin types.Rating: 5/5Highly recommended for anyone struggling with dry skin or looking for a reliable, dermatologist-recommended moisturizer.

Severe Eczema
Good product.Daughter had very very severe eczema on face. Started about 2 weeks after birth as a few spots and became extremely severe and red . She was also extremely itchy to the point of uncontrollable scratching and screaming. I avoided creams on her skin early on, also thought avoiding certain foods due to breast feeding was a good idea. I was trying every possible thing to help her. This cream was good (tried everything I could get my hands on including many other brands as well as steroids - hydrocortisone and eumavate when things got really unbearable for her...I absolutely did not want to use steroids but I found that it was necessary at times)Now at 19 months old what I have found works on my daughter's skin is not the branded creams but a homemade mixture of shea butter, aloe vera gel , coconut oil and sunflower oil. Her skin is the best it has ever been, she still gets a bit itchy now and again and scratches sometimes but I would say she is 95% improved from where she was. We have not had to use Piriton or steroids in a very long time as this seems to be working on her entire body. (Periton and Steroids we were told to use by GP when she was under the age of 1, I was extremely anxious about this but they did help at the time)We use scratchsleeves at night even though she does not have night episodes of scratching anymore, it's just a precaution we take.Mixture consists of:Shea butter (unrefined) from Amazon : melt Shea butter in microwave ( once melted the liquid fills about 3/4 of a regular sized bowl you'd use for cereal.I then add in 5 serving spoons of fractionated coconut oil, and the same amount for sunflower oilI add in about 4 heaped serving spoons of aloe Vera gel.Mix it together and leave it on the side to cool . Once cooled you can give it a whisk in a blender if you want a whipped consistency. I usually just let it cool then put it in a container. We moisturise our daughters skin from head to toe around 4 times a day with this mixture. (I really massage it into the skin). Always first thing in the morning and before she goes to sleep at night then id say at least twice more during the day, sometimes more. We just try not to leave very long periods between moisturising. This mixture lasts us about 3 weeks. This cream does feel a bit oily but It does sink into the skin and is definitely working for our daughter better than anything we have ever tried and better than anything prescribed by the doctors.I was really worried that the eczema on her face would cause terrible scarring because she had frequent very aggressive flare-ups but you would never be able to tell looking at her now.She had a random itchy area on the back of her neck for about 6 months, the skin in that area turned dark from the the relentless scratching. With this homemade cream I am seeing gradual improvement to the colouring and appearance of the skin. It is returning back to normal.

Fabulous for dry skin
This was great for my skin. I had very dry patchy crusty skin on my face caused by sun damage. I had tried all sorts of creams to soften my skin and nothing worked. I used baby skin under makeup, but still within hours the dry flakey patches would show through my makeup. This cream softened my skin within a couple of days of using it. After two weeks of using it, my skin appears to have completely cleared up. It is a little bit greasy when you put it on, but don't let that out you off, because it soon absorbes into the skin. If wearing makeup, I would probably use it 30 minutes before application. If combination skin, I would just use it on the dry bits. There's no perfume smell with it, and a little goes a long way. I will certainly buy it again, as it is very much well worth every penny for me.

Fantastic
Wow what can I say about the product. I have problems with my kidneys especially infections and one of the side effects can be a very itchy face and your face doesnt doesnt have a visual rash just intense heat you feel like you've caught the sun badly and you face is on fire its awful infact. No pain just intense itch and very red blotchy very red face and can go onto neck ears and back of neck especially the hair line. So last week I was desperate I was using the steroid cream that the doctor had prescribed but was only supposed to use that sparingly and twice a day. Omg I needed something else, dont get me wrong I bought other none perfumed creams but I needed a Emollient cream. As soon as put this Doublebase on my face its helped so much . It calmed it down while I was waiting for the antibiotics to kick in for my kidney infection not everyone gets these side effects ive got very sensitive skin. Im allergic to sun. And I have to cover up when im out. So my skin is to the extreme and worked for me, this is life saving cream or I Id be looking for the nearest bridge to jump off. I hadn't slept in three night . And I walked around the house with ice packs on my face just to calm the heat down. But through paracetamol and antihistamine and this cream I managed to cope. The cream was so soothing . I would definitely recommend this amazing cream to anyone who as extremely dry and sore skin, inflammation of the skin. Its got a greasy feeling so tie your hair up if you can . But the greasy feeling goes it doesn't stay. You need a greasy substance to help with your skin. I was using epidem probly the wrong spelling thats a very good cream too but I needed some with a greasy texture to it so it absorbed into my poorly skin. Cream formula makes it tight and taught . My skin today is calm until tonight and then I will reapply my Doublebase for dry skin Eollient. Good luck hope this long winded recommendations has helped you xx
