wont stay in reclining position

I bought 2 of these chairs for my sun-room - the appeal was the small size and the "leather" covering. It's a small room and I needed something easy to clean- I have a dog. So, that being said, these chairs serve their purpose. They are the perfect size for me - 5'5", average build. The seats are firm, but I prefer that. They were very easy to put together. Anyone can do this - just screw in the 4 feet, and slide the back over the seat brackets. No tools, No sweat.My only complaints - 1 chair arrived with a grease like stain on the back. It did not come off with soap and water, or an alcohol wipe. The same chair had a small scrape on one of the arms - almost looks like a cut that has not quite opened up. Makes me think maybe this one was returned? The same chair also has a tendency to not stay in the recline position as well as the other. None of this is worth the hassle of returning for me, so I reduced my review by 1 star.

I got this for my wife, in the bedroom, as with her back problem she often moves from bed, to recliner (2 in the living room), to a recliner in the bedroom. This chair was to replace one we've had in the bedroom that is a manual lever recliner - hard to use. She fits the chair well (5'3"), but the nearly flat full position didn't help her back - so this chair will be passed on to another family member. We really wanted it to work (it actually felt good to me, though my feet and head hang off it - I'm 5'10"), but unfortunately for her back problem, laying flat didn't work. For others (like myself - felt good to me), it certainly can work. But the quality of the chair, and the massage aspect (though limited to small back), and ease in pushing back to recline, is "very good". Would recommend it for those under 5'6". Back problems make finding THE best chair a challenge, we've found.

Small size is what I needed for small apartment and my size of 5’1 in . 130 lbs . So definitely good for a person of my size my feet do not hang over the edge of the foot rest and my head does not hang over the top of the head rest perfect fit . Easy to assemble, sturdy. Firm seat , sitting on top not down into seat which would be a little more comfortable but does have good back support . . Black leather look compliments my black leather loveseat . Only dislike is reclining mechanism makes a loud noise when raising back to sitting position. I will have my son check that out .

Easy to assemble. Hardest part was getting it out of the box. I bought this for my husband who was in the hospital. He needs something more comfortable than the couch to sit on. It's a little on the narrow side, great for our apartment. If you are someone who likes extra space in your chair I would look at a different one. But for comfort, small spaces, easy of assembly..this is a great value

This chair does not take up a lot of space and seems to be holding up well at my house. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that there is not as much room to rest your arms on it. I just put a little pillow under my arm say if I want to take a little cat nap and problem solved. Otherwise it's a very nice chair for a good price. Looks very nice as well. My grandkids love it too.

OMG I LOVE this purchase!!! My recliner came perfectly packaged in a square (i.e. not odd shaped) box that wasn't too crazy heavy. The chair was super easy to assemble: snap on the back and screw in the feet - no tools required. I LOVE the slim size of it - it's true to the listed measurements and fits perfectly in the tight spot it was purchased for.I feel like I got a great bargain for the comfy recliner I received. When I bought it, I was worried about the foot rest in the reclined position, but it's just fine (I'm 5'6") and fully supports my legs perfectly. Once fully assembled it's not heavy at all- it's super easy to scoot around if needed.I highly recommend this product - I love my new chair!
